  • First time I hear of this horrible disease. Is it contagious?

Scientists got a lot to get done it seems.

  • @SudiArabia No, it is not contagious But seems common around my home, I Live in Berkley ma, and in the winter i have a lot of deers on the side of my home (they eat the berry's) Usually every year around oct and nov somne days i will find 3 in one day and they are always the deer tick!! My dog had lyme last year, Now my other dog has a bullseye

  • See YT - My Experience with MMS for Lyme Disease

  • I found a tick crawling on me after loving on my dog. When I went to get him off me, the tick embedded itself. I got someone to get it off of me immediately. Eight days later, I had a stiff neck, headache and it progress to fever with flu-like symptoms. My point is everyone keeps saying that the tick must be on you for 24hrs to get infected but that actually isn't true. The tick that bit me was on me for less than 2 mins.

  • Very good presentation, thanks. The flu symptoms visual was funny to me for some reason but effective in making your point.

  • I got. Bit by one lucky me I was taking a shower then I saw the tick went to the Dr. Took care of it it only bit me for couple of min how lucky am I

  • My brother, when he was 12 he got Lyme disease. We live in massachusetts, that's why. he's fine now though.. It's just lots of treatment.

  • Wrote a Lyme disease brochure with the help and support of 2 Lyme disease specialists. Will email to anyone interested. Thanks for your video.

    God bless, Elaine.

  • @ecftube

    i am scared to death

  • nice video, smart boy

  • ,,,great video

  • After trying everything apart from more expensive rife devices and a biophoton machine, sweating in a bath, I found what worked for me was going on a very high animal fat diet. Lots of Pork belly, beef dripping, fatty wild pheasant, lamb & fat. No carbs (no potato, rice, grain, especially wheat, so many of us are intolerant to wheat and it can stop fats going in). Some vegetables, like pok choi, spinach, radish, kale, coriander, iceburg lettuce, celery, having as much as I wanted of these.

  • My dad got this and it was horrible watching him go through it.

  • >After being in wooded ereas:

    > check all hair, under arms and crotch, pants waits line and other clothes ereas that are tight, ears, under knees and elbows.

    > If you feel a scratch, learn to check for ticks before scratching.

    > Keep a journal to document ticks that attached.

    > If a tick is attached, learn who to remove them.

    > Run you hand over skin an check all small bumps.

    > Check often and you catch most ticks while they are still crawling.

    > Kill them after they are removed.

  • Good video.

    Very informative.

  • I got a bite tick today and I am worry about get this disease. This tick was very, very small ,do you think I can be infected . do you think I have to go to the doctor to take any medicine for precaution or just wait and see what happen ?

  • Great presentation on lyme disease. However, only about 50% of the victims get a rash. I think the best way to prevent lyme is through education, awareness & finding a lyme literate doctor. Many doctors only follow certain protocols in the treatment of lyme, so you MUST be your own advocate.

Educate yourself, join a support group & never settle for just one opinion. Don't forget to check for ticks, May God Bless us All in the search for a cure.

your friend in lyme, barbara 20639

  • EVERYONE:: PLEASE::: Cure Unknown" (2008) by Pamaela Weintraub ( Senior Editor of Discovery Mag.) I got this book from the library. It answered so many of my questions and I'm SURE it will for you too. PLEASE pass this information on to your network of friends, as this is the only way I can't do it. I'm sick again. Buzz

  • so when i go camping in the forest i will get lyme disease?

  • no, there just saying that if you do go camping then to to wash your body bc of ticks and if they get on u then u will get lyme disease in 24 hours if the tick is removed in that peiod of time then you wont get it

  • shouldnt taking a shower everyday help..... bcuz u wud kinda c it on u or it would fall off

  • whoa Ferapont thats scarey ! I'm a chiken U won't find me in one !........lol

I am on daily IV via a Picc Line....

Aslo for amyone interested...I made a puppet show about lyme....it can be viewed on my channel

  • I was reading about ticks and lyme disease an the net an hour ago. When I went into the bathroom what did I find? I found a fucking little wood tick trying to cling itself to my waist! How ironic eh? Those little bastards I've been coming across 'em quite often this year and it my third one.

  • THATS BULL.. their in woods and forests dumb ass

  • ok smart ass. but I was on the trials earlier that day so Its probably where I came in contact with it and later that night found it. So don't go judging when you were not there. >_>

  • Check out the video "How I Cured Lyme Disease." There is hope for Chronic Lyme. This video really gave me hope and I want to spread the word.

  • God Bless. Please try "Organic Lapacho tree tee". I lived in the Amazons for 6 years I know, Also try Heavy metal detox . Lyme disease its only a problem in the U.S.A were the medical & insurance companies control the Health of the people. Think about this "ticks" exist long before Man so Lapacho tree. Natives in the Amazons and south America use this tee to cure them way before big medicine companies existed.

  • Thank you for the informative vid

  • Nice Sweater...

  • Ya dude i live in beverly, massachussets and dude theres a lot of ticks at whenam lake forest and cogate park near the beverly golf and tennis and i play airsoft there and i find ticks on myself all the time

  • Antibiotics crossing blood brain barrier send neurotoxins deep into the brain stem/CNS; over-excitability of neuro-transmitters; lesions; encephalopathy; meningo-encephalomyelitis; cerebral vasculitis; intracranial pressure (ICP); diplopia; vertigo; seizures; carditis; pericarditis, etc. MS speculated to be a disease of the Blood Brain Barrier, direct correlation between the severity of MS and compromising of the BBB (pharma drugs crossing it). Cipro, etc. adverse side effects = Lyme symptoms.

  • Meant to include below that antibiotic Doxycycline adverse effects mimick Lyme symptoms, as do quinilone antibiotics (Cipro, etc.) adverse effects. Doxy is used to treat Lyme. However, Sam Donta states Amoxicillin is equally efficacious as Doxy for Lyme. Amox. is much less toxic. Why don't they offer that instead?

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is available in a clinic in Mississauga, Ontario which is a suburb west of Toronto, Under Pressure Inc. The Hyperbaric Healing Centre. They treat people with lyme disease. HBOT is FDA/Health Canada Approved for 13 labelled indications. Why did it take so long to get HBOT in Ontario? 905-274-2032

  • They had one blow up with a woman and child in Florida last week (Hyperbaric Oxygen tank) . I'll try and find the article and post if able to remember--it's too late tonight.

  • ==>and doctors could not tell me what was the problem and after several months in other clinic they told me that I had this bacteria in the blood. Now I'm still drinking antibiotics and I have a lots of symptoms of borellia and I am very scared that it's a bit late. I was treated with antibiotics before but they were not for the lyme disease.:(

So be careful guys and don't follow my example, go to doctor as soon as you can if you have any kind of these symptoms.

  • Hey, these is very usefull information for others but not for me now. I was bitten in Georgia (not in USA) in my village, I was there for 1 week and something bited me, I couldn,t see what was it and I was wearing trousers. I don't have any idea how this damn tick could bite me on the leg. And I didn't know that this bite was very dangerous and I didn't go to doctor, after one month and half I have several symptoms like headaches, fever and heart problem ( pericardits ) ==>

  • Great information but honestly, you really seem drunk. Especially in the first shot outside. Reshoot when sober so people will take you and your information seriously.

  • Hey guys....PLEASE register at the Oprah Winfrey website and let her know how much you would like to see her do a show on Lyme disease. Dr. Oz thinks the "UNDER OUR SKIN" documentary is wonderful but a show about Lyme won't be done unless she sees lots of interest. Request that LLMDS and patients be the guests so that we can be heard. Also, Daryl Hall would make a great guest. OPRAH needs to hear about YOUR experience with Lyme disease. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !

    God Bless,

    Elaine

  • Some facts correct but WRONG-the tick can feed for less than FOUR hours and transmit Lyme and several other tickborne diseases. See LDA (Lyme Disease Association) site and ILADS (International Lyme/Associated Disease Society )for ACCURATE information!

  • You tube..."Controlling Lyme Disease." I shared what I have begun using on someone's space there. It is LDN, and I am not getting sicker with major herxing out, but using a cream that cost $40.00 and then the DR's fee. I hand washed my car today, because my energy level enabled me to do so. After LDN.

  • hmm... i think i might have it =( ive had heart skipping.. hard to wake up confused sometimes and shit.. ive had them all over my room before..

  • Lol i just got diagnosed with lyme im trippin ass right now, i get 2 weeks of skewl tho, its all good.

  • aw ..sry man that freakin sux!! shit S:

  • I get couple weeks off school so it equals out lol. World of warcraft all day baby. The worst part about lyme is the dumbstruck feeling you get and the confusion and the restless leg syndrome. I'm 5 months into lyme disease, and i have been taking the meds for 3 weeks now feeling much improvement, i only have 1 week left of taking the meds. Feeling sooo much better.

  • you are lucky...i spent 2 months in a hospital bed... they didnt know what was wrong with me for 2 weeks... there was no trace of any illness in my blood, they found it in my spinal fluid because it was in my brain... gave me meningitis too.. in my brain...

    scariest experience ever...

  • 2 months? Wow. I would probably be in the hospital bed too, but i knew that i got bite by a tick. I was with my parents we were going on a road trip to california, and we had to pass through Pennsylvania (highest rate of lyme disease then any other place in the world). I was walking my dog and i notced that she had a huge kinda orange tick on her head. Then i quickly checked myself for 1 and i found a very tiny black tick underneath my thigh.

  • i was bitten in france, and i didnt notice, because we went to my friends forrest for his birthday... and we were drunk lol

luckily i had health insurance... but my doctors were amazing (i had the best neurologists in france)... they didnt understand what was happening to me because i was so young

in the end, they found it in my spinal fluid, and it was in my brain along with viral meningitis they said if i didnt go to hospital it would have shut down all my organsand and i would have died

  • Daaang that sounds terrible. When i had lyme i had it much more neurological then pains and headaches. It was weird because i felt good 1 minute then the feeling of confusion would hit me like a wave again. I had a lot of symptoms i mean a lot like palpatations. Your story sounds a lot worse though.

How long did you have the lyme untreated?

  • lol i had it for a few months before treated... i had headaches, complete numbness of the left side of my body, depression, hallucinations, panic attacks, periodical blindness and blurred vision, depersonalisation (see yourself and everything you do in 3rd person and cant control anything).

but the worst thing was misdiagnosis. it took them 2 weeks of guessing, telling me i had epilipsey, cancer, brain heamoridging, aids, etc.

  • the tests were rediculous too, i felt like i was on an episode of House.. expept i was transfered to 3 different hospitals

over 90 needles, 70 vials of blood, 30 vials of spinal fluid, 3 weeks of 100g of fluid direcly into the blood stream.. 5 MRIs, brain elecro reading,m nerve testing, eye tests, muscle tests, x-rays, brain scans...

i think my insurace bill was close to 500,000 euros

  • Holy shit dude.. i think the lyme in europe is worse then the USA damn i had lyme undiagnosed for 6 months, My symptoms were nothing compared to yours. Just occasional confusion, memory felt cloudy (or MASSIVE BRAIN FOG), sharp pains in hands, oh and a lot of panic attacks, and palpatations. Are you feeling better? I sure as hell am, I've been on antibiotics for only 2 weeks and i've noticed a huge difference. i can actually think clearly now!

  • yeah better now... i have been out of hospital for like 5 months, and i got the all clear 3 weeks ago :)

  • Well thats good. Im still on the pills i feel myself regaining my normal self again slowly though. I really wish that tick hadn't bitten me i went through tough months, my parents thought i was going crazy (which is on of lymes many symptoms). i knew something was wrong with me but my parents didnt believe me. If i hadnt made them call the doctor, i would probably have the chronic lyme disease right now. Well all that matters now is that we are feeling better.

  • Thank heavens you had insurance!

  • Has anyone considered? that the heavy spraying of Chemtrails, may have contributed to our susceptability to Lyme Disease?

  • This is an amazing well presented scientific explanation of lyme disease. You have done a great service to many people on this matterI am sure.

  • Very informative. Thank you.

  • Fantastic video! I just wish you would have mentioned that the spirochete will/has been known to turn into cyst form to protect itself. I like your style. A very informative video that I will pass onto family members. Thank you.

  • I think something is wrong with his left eye ;P

  • How long after getting bit would you know if you had the disease?

  • lymes disease is a horrible disease i got it when i was 10 been sick ever since

lymes sucks i hope none ever gets it

except for the doctors who didnt treat me for 2 years...i hope that they get it

  • uh.. I have a question... I'm getting suspicious after a summer in Oklahoma (i got bit)... would playing basketball or running and feeling joint pain in your knees afterward be grounds for this? (note: I guess my knees could just be out of shape) Just asking since you say you have it and all.

  • Well a few questions did you get the rash?

or have what seemed to be strep throat for about 2 weeks?

With me i got bite by 8 ticks all together on my head then developed a wierd rash, and got what seemed the flu, and got the joint pain and bad fatigue later down the road about 2 years after i got bit

And do you get that pain only in your knees or was it in other joints? with me its mostly in all my joints (hands, wrists, knees, ankles)

    hit me back

  • wow that's a lot of ticks! well I got bit by one tick (very unusual looking tick than what I'm used to seeing) in a precious place, if you know what I mean... but no, I don't think I got a rash.. I've had "strep throat" twice since then - didn't go away the first time I guess. (note: I do get it pretty often though)

and yeah the pain is only in my knees after running, it's really hard to walk up stairs to my dorm which I can't recall ever happening before.

  • That's a pretty good video, but I just want to let you know that most people with Lyme don't get a rash, and a lot of times, if they do get a rash, it isn't in the shape of a bull's eye. Unfortunately, there is not a cure to Lyme. The bacteria will always be in patients' systems even if they are symptom-free. So, there is always a chance that Lyme patients can relapse. Pregnancy and certain medecines, like steroids, can cause a relapse.

  • Thanks for the comment. Actually, the bacteria is very susceptible to penicillin; however, once you experience some of the late effects of Lyme such as neurological and arthritic symptoms it is very difficult to reverse. The relapse you are speaking of is likely in people who did not receive complete initial treatment of the spirochete.

  • I live in Virginia and my oldest daughter found a tic attached to he ankle. We removed it slowly with tweezers. It came out fully intact. We are keeping it in a plastic bag and will bring to her pediatrician next week. Can they do testing on the tic to see if it may have the bacteria? By the way, nice video.

  • @MysteryGirl44 thats not true...get more sourceful information and read more before you spread rumors thanks

  • I know about what yr going threw. I was bit in 1992, then twice in 1996, and now get to stay home 24-7, becouse I cant do anything without collasping. Google Dar's Toy Story, I wrote it 1 year ago, to let others know what we go threw every day. Been downloaded 6 Mil. times. Its on Lyme-Net too. Dont look back@what ya did, see what ya can still do, it could be worse, like me. Were alone out here, and can, hope anybody will hear us.I eat a bulb of "Raw-Garlic a day.Only thing that helped Texas Dar !

  • thanks for posting this video, i am a sufferer. The only people that care are the ones that have suffered. I just realized that isn't that terrible?

  • Yay! Good for you, everyone needs to know about lyme disease. Some people think it can't happen to them, and a lot of people just don't know enough about it.

  • A fair bit of this video is accurate, however, late stage Lyme CAN be helped quite a bit, to learn more, google:

    bryan rosner lyme disease

    Lyme is treatable!

  • This is a good video. I just wanted to add that keeping healthy is another good way to deal with Lyme. You said that prevention is the best way to go, but this pathogen is so popular that a better advice may be to keep the susceptible host strong and healthy...not susceptible to the disease. (ref. the disease triangle) Disease only exists if the host is weak enough to allow manifestation. So eat a lot of vegetables and drink a lot of water, and sleep. Best of luck to all alike :)

  • Awesome video!!! Certainly going to subscribe to you!!! Thanks. *****

  • One natrual way to lessen the affects of lyme disease is changing to a raw vegan diet. A lot of the symtoms might lessen.

  • WE MUST CHANGE THE TESTING STANDARDS! There are so many people suffering, and being misdiagnosed. Doctors took an oath to do anything in their power to save our health. If you have mysterious ailments and your doctor says it is all in your head, FIRE HIM and seek a LLMD!

  • Those statics you are saying are documented cases, what about all the cases that are slipping by the ELISA?? CDC states "when the ELISA comes back negative, then no more testing is needed." But the ELISA leaves out some bands, so how is this right??? Cronic suffers of Lyme MUST get a WESTERN BLOT!!! Trust me, i know.

  • Thank you for the information.....

  • i got lymes disease 10 yrs ago and im still suffering chronic fatigue and muscle and joint pains. Take this disease serious, it destroyed my life !!!

  • is there any way you could describe what you mean on the Chronic Fatigue? Because I'm seriously thinking I may be experiencing lyme.

  • I think i got a fucken tick in my brain

  • Good information for those of us who have first hand (or leg) experience with a tick bite.

  • Nice sweater... LOL.
