@wasapur dude, this happened to me. all you need to do is when you start the game you will have an options windows that says start, options, data files etc...click data files and tick all the dlc boxes :)

Hey guys, I have a xbox and have played Fallout 3 for it and gotten all the acheivements. And I just got a new PC that has 3.1 ghz so i was really excited to play PC games. I thought I should get this game because it's so much fun! I am operating Windows 7 with a Acer Tower. Even through they catch trojans or such,mostly they are,it was false detection,

Now after i use another anti-virus like AVIRA,they detect everything without sacrifice performance.

Now if you think this dll is a virus,then don`t download and play your game Fallout 3 or download this fix :P

OK. If you have the game almost working.. you get it so its almost playable, but its crashing frequently and often, try turning off the blur shader in the .ini file.

(Find the blur shader entry, go to the bottom of that section and change the use function from true to false. (from 1 to 0) save ini Try running the game again and see if it still has crash issues. If it does, you might as well enable blur shading again. I believe that is what causes alot of crashing.

i even tried virtual box.. my game wont crash at the baby screen and it never did, but i get random game freeze...

@RickyBL Hmmm,well try this,login your Fallout 3 with LIVE or Means,Login Offline for your Fallout3,will make your game settings will same on your My Documents>My Games>Fallout 3.

Because if you can`t find the fallout.ini on My Games,that means your Fallout 3 game didn`t save any config on that place.

Then Try use this fix!

OR ELSE! Copy Fallout_default.ini to My Documents>My Games>Fallout 3

rename it to Fallout.ini,then try modding.Thats all i know,

if it still don`t work.....dunno :-/

For anyone who can't get this to work, i had the same problem. I entered the text into the Fallout_Default file, but it kept crashing. After a little searching around in the program files, however, i found a second ini simply named "FALLOUT". I entered the text there, and have not had a single problem since (except with the DLC). Try that out.
