@akherousia It's the original version of the aria that Mozart wrote, before he was told there were too many notes. Also, Konstanze's big aria, "Martern aller arten" has an extended section that you rarely hear.

@RossiniSoprano it is funny you mention "too many notes" - I had EXACTLY the same idea this June in Berlin, while being at this opera (see my viedos, including this aria with Anna Prohaska). They made it in ONE SHOT, with NO intermission, and I was submerged under the heaviness and richness of the music, and though of the same - too many notes, give me a break! Please! :) - but to no avail. One has to take a breathing with Die Entfuhrung, there is just such an abundance of great music.

This is the salzburger production! Isn't it? I have the dvd in the collection of Mozart 22... But in the dvd Diana doesn't sing and the stage is orrible!!!!

So you have Ascanio in Alba (in which Diana is really wonderful), Zauberflote (I prefer the CG version with Dorothea as Pamina) and the Nozze di Figaro with Netrebko!

I love very much Dorothea Röschmann, she has a really great voice!!!!

I have all the dvds of Mozart 22 because I found a super offer and I've paied them "only" 100 euros!!!
