Through checking other Kalafina songs, I found Hikaru had 4 different voices at least. Yuki Kajiura selected her out of 30,000 applicants for "Kara no Kyoukai" project for Hikaru's "penetrating" voice in natural pop singing. However another important reason of the decision was the fact that Hikaru had an ability to change her voice in harmonizing part so that Yuki's classical music construction could be accomplished, I guess.

i have to say if u prefer AKB4,i'm not gonna judges u,and thats whatever your preference is. But just basing things on pure talent alone, they can't even hold a candle to Kalafina, just look at the experience level, tho this a fairly new group, the members of it were already famous and popular for many years prior to this. Kalafina consist of members of fiction junction an see-saw, so you can see why they're great. AkB4 aren't t talented and they're very generic. Kalafina is on another level.

First of all, it is useless to compare Kalafina with AKB48, because they are very different in musical styles. “AKB is famous only because of extreme promotion” is not true. Some of AKB48 songs are very well-made as light pop songs(This kind of music has its own raison d'etre) .

That's the first time that I realize Yuki Kajuira was a wonderful composer, then when the movie ends and 'Oblivious' starts playing for the credits, It's just.. perfect...
