  • 3 people wish they had a garden in the middle of their city!

  • @Angelalovesthe90s With a little help from my friend Google I was able to find this on the Sesame Street page. The little film has been shown a number of times, but the first episode was #2899 which was aired on December 12, 1991.

  • @Angelealovesthe90s it was filmed in late 1991 early 1992

  • @Angelalovesthe90s I think this was Rosario Dawson's first time on TV, though she wasn't acting, she was gardening. lol

  • Wow, Just today I was thinking of the garden video with the jazz music from sesame street! Good times!

  • rosario dawson as a little girl @ about 1:26 " planting theses flowers we grew in the greenhouse" i luv her!

  • I have looked for this for years. Don't ask why I just adore it!! :D I always wanted my own garden after this.

  • Where exactly in new york is this garden located?

  • makes me want to go to new york again!

  • The music sounds like Dave Brubeck

  • Oh wow, I remember this. The jazz music and the bright tomatoes stuck with me all those years.

  • Wow, long time since I saw this one, sticks out in my mind so well too.

  • I loved this one for the music, such lovely music

  • its hard to say, I am thinking about middle to late 80's, but I could be wrong. Maybe earlier.

  • I love honey!

  • If you look at 1:25, you will notice a young Rosario Dawson.

  • WOOHOO! i remember this!

  • Oh this old one. Very good.

  • The only Sesame Street middle of the city I know of is Central Park... where do you think this was made?

  • Looks like New York to me.

  • @Ian16545 New York has many community gardens throughout the city. It's cool to see old lots turned into lush community gardens.

  • The whole "garden in the middle of the city" reminds me of the book Seedfolks.

    Yay, nature!!
