@whoflungdat - The book doesnt amplify force. Its spreads power out over a larger surface area, keeping the fist from going deeper into the target. Larger the surface area = less force in 1spot = less overall damage. Small surface area with massive power = heavy damages. The forces of this kinda power are spherical, and so the book absorbs a lot of the force inside the book, instead of inside the human target.

Look, to all the losers and nerds out there, this guy(the one getting hit) is not faking it. hurts like a mother. So stop being babies and thinking that yall know everything and actually go and try it yourself.
@LionEatingMan Ha. He'll be the first to admit it. but it doesn't feel like getting hit by a normal punch, even hard. There are some 'tough' guys out there that can't explain why this hurts differently, but they felt it. I've seen it on ripped muscle guys as well as thick islanders. it feels....funky. Like you got hit and tased at the same time, kind of.
@ninjoeperez Ok, but I don't understand what he's doing differently. Mabe it is my failing, but his form doesn't look any different from a regular hammer fist.
@LionEatingMan no, i agree it looks normal. but he's creating impact without momentum. most strikes are judged by and hence taught to produce momentum. i.e. Bruce Lee's 1 inch punch that sends a guy 10 feet or 'lifting' a guy with an uppercut, etc. but with pure impact, all the energy stays IN. check out Glen's channel, ninjaskilledmyfish. there's a video about impact vs. momentum.
if you're in California this July, I think he's coming here.
It 'looks' normal, but involves the mysterious power of being a firgging idiot who fakes his response because he thinks that's the right thing to do. Later on in life he'll come to realise that that made him a liar, and a man who sold his own dignity. And maybe some of the apologists of it now will later come to realise that there's no difference between their responses and how a cult behaves.
@LionEatingMan It's in his Fa-Jing. It creates the impact by producing inner energy. Look up Fa-Jing and youll learn about it more. Its really interesting. Recomend for anyone interested in MA
@ninjoeperez I think it hurts like hell far more intense then a straigh punch...but explaining that to mma guys aint going to work only if you could demostrate it on them.
@LionEatingMan Basically, what people mean when they say impact rather than momentum is that there is a smaller amount of mass moving faster. There are very subtle details of Glen's technique that probably aren't picked up by the video. For example, the twisting motion of his wrist increases the speed with which his fist impacts. It's those little details that add up to a very high speed impact.
@ONENIGGER2ANOTHER I have a degree in computer science; but, this isn't complicated like nonlinear differential equations. Anyone who passed physics 1 should know what velocity, momentum, and transfer of energy are and the differences between speed and velocity. By transferring the energy faster, more of the energy is transferred to the target before it has the chance to move very far. It's like punching someone vs pushing them. Similar amounts of energy delivered over different time intervals.
@ForrestDix Next I suppose you will try to convince me that Black Holes are simply sub-atomic particles which exist outside the confinements of the time-space continuum investing into their own singularity.
ninjutsu and mostly aikido has a lot of elements from tai chi chuan, till this day the ideea of chi or ki as a concept at least is in every martial arts, but the concept itself came from tai chi chuan!
@UnknownFromHeaven You've got to be kidding. The concept of chi has been part of cultures all around the world for thousands of years. Tai Chi Chuan is nowhere near that old. It's not even one of the first Chinese martial arts to use it. Hsingyiquan and Shaolinquan are much older.
@SeanHannityable i do not joke, Ueshiba studied Taiji in Southern China before realising the system of aikido, and the concept of chi at least in taoism is reffered to the living energy that flows in the universe.
And through Taiji mostly you can connect to that power!
Bruce lee knew that, thats why his jkd was so powerfull.
Hahaha, I love the people ripping me apart, "its fake its fake". I can't really prove to anyone that it was real, especially not on here. But I can explain what was going on through my head. I remember being so shocked at what I felt because it didn't feel like a "hit". I felt like something so different and I was genuinely surprised and in pain at the same time. Some of my family don't even believe me, which I understand, my reaction does look over the top, especially in slow mo. It's real tho.
That's a bit like somone in a cult saying 'I'm not in a cult', lol. You're the last person who gets to decide if you are or not, ironically, because you're the most brainwashed. Of course you wouldn't be faking it unless you wanted to believe it.
The fact is that this video is simply presented as a demonstration that Levy did while giving a seminar. It is not here to attempt to sway your way of thinking on anything, so please stop forcing such expectations on it. If you choose to disregard any scientific outcomes that Glen's HF has produced, that is your choice, but until you offer any sound reasoning behind your need to berate and belittle, you will only be seen as a jealous spectator.

Well one thing I know about cults is that they always attack the critic personally. Gee, I could be jealous that I don't have any patsies prepared to embarrass themselves to make me look great... But, no. A lot of martial arts group are like cults - for the same reason - people 'want' to believe, so they tell themselves it's real. Actually, just by looking at this vid it is pretty obviously fake. End of, I'm afraid. I'm really not jealous of people who lie.
You sure do assume alot in your coments, which is why people are criticizing you so much. I would like to offer you the advise of apologizing for the hurtful things you have said while at the same time realizing two things:
A. there is absolutely NO evidense of any of the people in this video being patsies or fakers
B. Yes, you are correct that anyone can generate enough force to effect the function of the heart (you used the example of CPR) but the only thing that this technique boasts is that it can generate such energy with minimal effort. Since it boasts nothing else, any points being made that there are other techniques that may be more efficient or that there are other ways to acheive the same results are really beyond the point and are inappropriate points to make when berating the video.

Kiss my arse. You wanna believe in bulshit - probably because it's nice to believe that there's an easy way to be a martial artist, without doing real training, then go for it - see where it gets you- answer - being a faker's straight man like these two frauds. Fraud, fraud, fraud - and whoever Eric Chen is, I assume he's a fraud as well, thanks to these two total jokers... it's amazing what people assume, isn't it? Just by seeing fraud in action.
Don't be naive. If you have no substantial claims to back up your assumption then please remain silent. I'm not going to tell you to research this because we both know ou won't, but I think it best if you just stop with these baseless accusations (it is way past slanderous). Oh, and for the record, no one ever said that practicing this technique is an easy way to become a martial artist, so please no more "argument by false association."
Well, I know that those who are convinced that it is fake won't change their minds, but I just wanted to vouch for the fact that this guy is not faking his facial expressions. I know that it can appear that way, but if you've ever spent any time with him, you would soon realize that he is a highly animated character, and that that's his natural "shocked" expression.
umm...i like never comment, but couldn't hold back...well, just something to share to the community, there is nothing strange or 'fake' about his facial reaction...it's pretty intuitive really, the book is directly touching his chest...get someone to push your chest wall while touching it...u'll understand...
i know because i've tried this move very lightly on my cousins for fun and saw their surprised reactions...oh, and i don't have anything to prove, so don't bother asking me to...
also, i know these people. they are not faking it. you are just lacking so much confidence in yourself that you deny other peoples abilities to validate your shortcomings. pathetic.
also, i know these people. they are not faking it. you are just lacking so much confidence in yourself that you deny other peoples abilities to validate your shortcomings. pathetic.
glen didnt claim to be an expert. the producers of that show did. training dnt matter anyhow. if i knew a technique that i stumbled on by accident and know nothing else, it does not mean that it is ineffective. so, quit ya bitching.
it's not little momentum, it's converting max momentum into impact. they didn't show the 12898 or the one that rebooted their computer. wish they did. he explains history of this technique in his seminars. Glen traces his lineage with a 'senior' on the new ep. why not ask Glen these questions on his channel?
If he claims for it to work on the principle of 'having very little momentum' then why claim such a high pressure? Logically speaking it makes no sense.
Besides, they measured in V.C (for only his punch too) and never showed the 12891 result at all.
No information on the net (noone knows him) as evidence for his training or proof of the "most powerful punch in the world", other than on this shoddy episode, and on the forums it seems senior trainers are calling him out on his ninjutsu technique.
You can think what you want crozsi, but there are amazing things in this world that are difficult to explain. Take it from me, the guy who got knocked out in this video, its the real deal.

I agree. Its BS. When giving a demo you always use a student who can act and fall the best. They are both good actors. You try that shit in a real situation when someone is on Meth. He is giving people false confidence. I have checked him out extensively and I cannot find one vid or fight where he is really getting it on. Just talk Talk Talk "Oh but he cant fight full on because he is a "Ninja" and he would kill his opponent with one single blow." Yeah blow it out your arse!
what part of this is BS my friend, I have trained in internal power for 2 years and can strike like this, i have done these strikes to my friends who do muay thai and bjj and they say they have never felt such power. this is called shocking power, it comes from being relaxed and using body mechanics. its very real i can assure you. believe me you could kill some one with this kind of blow, these blows are for weak areas of the body like the neck, heart region, solar plexus, pressure points.
what? and end up killing someone. these strikes are not aimed for the arm or legs. you attack the heart, the neck, the eyes. i would only use this if my life was in danger.
As I said. Do it in a real situation. ie real = life and death. Street fight. Its mad, no one just stands there. But hey if you have such control under adversity you will have no problem not killing someone.
its not about being calm or relaxed in fight. you train these moves until they become instinctive and automatic. it just comes out naturally when you are fighting, there is no time to think and try and calm yourself down.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Well I've been training in CMA for over two decades, and I have extensive experience with real fa jin. But that's not the point - an old lady, with no experience, could just as easily look at that guy's face and revognise - due to intelligence - that he's completely faking it. Start taking a pride in being critical - expose such frauds for what they are. Total fraud. They must have shallow egos - both of them - or be making a lot of money.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
so what are you saying: -
1) fajin is not real
2) dickhead glen levy is not really doing fajin
i don't like glen levy, he seems like a weirdo and a retard but the fact is he does have real fa jin. they measured the power of his hammer fist on fight science and found it could stop a human heart. how can you deny such empirical scientific facts, you should do more research.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Well for one, I didn't say fa jin wasn't real - what you're doing there is trying to use 'argument by false association' - a little like saying 'oh, so you're saying a hammer fidt can't stop a human heart therefore you're anti-science'. BS man - pure BS. ANYONE'S hammer fist can stop a human heart - or start one - it's called CPR. But this video is clearly fake - look at the guy's face - it's fake. Obviously. Have some pride in yourself and don't defend fraud.
no, i agree, that guys reaction does look fake but what perplexes me is glen levy does genuinely have a powerful hammerfist so why would he have to fake it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Who knows? Maybe it isn't quite as powerful as it needs to be to achieve the fame he wants? Or maybe the student is a shill, and he's too foolish to stop him. One thing's for sure, if these are Eric Chen's students, my respect for Eric Chen just went through the floor. No one'sbelieving this horseshit any more - well, a few are, obviously - the only question is 'why' - and I guess only they can answer it.
Ghostfuture, have you looked at the other hammers Glen has posted? there's record of them all over the place. they and some machines can't all have decided to 'fake it' for him. and that's just the ones taped. as i said to israeli, find him and experience one for yourself. see where your respect goes after that. i've seen glen perform it plenty, and i was there for this one. i was at one of the fight science tapings. he wasn't faking it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
For one, what I said was, the person holding the phone book is faking it - look at his face, tell me that isn't a fake face. As for finding him - that obviously is unlikely, so, we need to rely on him providing honest demos - unless you're saying he can't. As for you being his shill - that's called 'incestuous proof' and means zero. As for machines, any adult male can produce enough force to affect a heart. As for my respect - I'm pretty tough myself, so screw him, fraud.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
And another thing, it can't be said enough - ANY human being with intelligence and honesty in their soul will look at that reaction - it's you is it? ... and know that that is a shill, faking it, out of some stupid sense that he has to commit fraud to boost another man's reputation... clearly not realising that in the process, he's ruining his own. If this is what you promote, then shame on you. Shame, shame, shame.
"shame shame shame".--i love how people who haven't posted item 1 of their own are experts on ANY video. no, it's not me on the vid. i should be the guy's agent if he's that good an actor he made you think he's faking it. he's a GENIUS for coming up with, "I'll take the hit, drop to my knees, then when i recover, say something like, 'i'm strong enough that i didn't go down'. briliant writing and acting. on the spot. think what you like, ghost. my dishonest soul and unintell..*patrick star drool*
However psi measures pressure, a force (momentum) pushing against something, and he still claims to have a psi of 12,891. How could he have such a high psi but little momentum? And still with Bas, that means his kick has still 2.625x the psi of the hammer fist, 33838psi???. I'm just not buying this ay, random stunt-man comes out of nowhere claiming to have the strongest punch in the world with conflicting evidence. But that's just me and I'm a stubborn, skeptical bastard.
We're all stubborn and skeptical. i've just been lucky enough to have (one of) my questions answered. it's funny, as odd as it sounds, Glen was skeptical when they did the tests as well. there was an actual strike they had to rule out because his fa jing shorted out the equipment. i wish they put THAT one in the show. but there's so many questions--can he set it up in a fight? cross-hook-hammerfist? ...yet another question....
i won't explain it; there's plenty of that to be found. but because very little momentum is generated, the force stays in the tissue. the electricity created by the fa jing seeks the nearest nerve plexus and overloads, or at least confuses it. the body reacts. that's what you're usually seeing from the receivers--the body reacting to the effect. look up glen levy explaining impact vs. momentum. i'm just someone who's seen it and felt it trying to explain it. see it in person if you can.
Compare the two fight science videos of him and Bas Rutten's kick. Same scale but Glen got 0.8 VC whereas Bas got 2.1. Still pretty skeptical about the 12,891psi claim... I mean if Tyson (who he claims is 1200) hit the asian guy in your other video at full power (which is still a quarter of the power Glen claimed to have hit that master with) there would have been much more damage. Also the "world's most deadly man" title is self-proclaimed... Sure it's a strong hit but come on people...
Here's the thing. I've seen the bas kick as well. it's a damn horse kick. NO DOUBT it does some serious damage. but also look at how much the dummy moves. much of bas's impact is lost to momentum. Like Bruce Lee's one inch punch. from an inch, he was launching people 15 feet. but they always sprung right back up. it was mostly momentum. The points of Glen's strike are: transfer energy completely to object and no further. and fa jing application. that's the weird factor.
He did that on me once, I didn't believe him. The actual shock of the punch nearly put my chin through the middle of my collar bone as they collided. It is truly an amazing punch I just wasn't ready for that kind of force even though I was braced for impact.
That guy face was priceless when getting hit with the hammerfist.

@ninjoeperez Ok, but I don't understand what he's doing differently. Mabe it is my failing, but his form doesn't look any different from a regular hammer fist.
LionEatingMan 1 year ago
@LionEatingMan no, i agree it looks normal. but he's creating impact without momentum. most strikes are judged by and hence taught to produce momentum. i.e. Bruce Lee's 1 inch punch that sends a guy 10 feet or 'lifting' a guy with an uppercut, etc. but with pure impact, all the energy stays IN. check out Glen's channel, ninjaskilledmyfish. there's a video about impact vs. momentum.
if you're in California this July, I think he's coming here.
ninjoeperez 1 year ago
It 'looks' normal, but involves the mysterious power of being a firgging idiot who fakes his response because he thinks that's the right thing to do. Later on in life he'll come to realise that that made him a liar, and a man who sold his own dignity. And maybe some of the apologists of it now will later come to realise that there's no difference between their responses and how a cult behaves.

@LionEatingMan ... dude look at him, he's gunned out
thatjamicanguy 1 year ago
@LionEatingMan Basically, what people mean when they say impact rather than momentum is that there is a smaller amount of mass moving faster. There are very subtle details of Glen's technique that probably aren't picked up by the video. For example, the twisting motion of his wrist increases the speed with which his fist impacts. It's those little details that add up to a very high speed impact.
tree6014 1 year ago
@tree6014 And dumb-asses like you who try to scientifically explain this just keeps the myth going!! LOL
ONENIGGER2ANOTHER 1 year ago
@ONENIGGER2ANOTHER I have a degree in computer science; but, this isn't complicated like nonlinear differential equations. Anyone who passed physics 1 should know what velocity, momentum, and transfer of energy are and the differences between speed and velocity. By transferring the energy faster, more of the energy is transferred to the target before it has the chance to move very far. It's like punching someone vs pushing them. Similar amounts of energy delivered over different time intervals.

ninjutsu and mostly aikido has a lot of elements from tai chi chuan, till this day the ideea of chi or ki as a concept at least is in every martial arts, but the concept itself came from tai chi chuan!
i wish you well!
UnknownFromHeaven 2 years ago 3
@UnknownFromHeaven You've got to be kidding. The concept of chi has been part of cultures all around the world for thousands of years. Tai Chi Chuan is nowhere near that old. It's not even one of the first Chinese martial arts to use it. Hsingyiquan and Shaolinquan are much older.
SeanHannityable 5 days ago

Comparing this to a cult? Way to sensationalize.

A. there is absolutely NO evidense of any of the people in this video being patsies or fakers

hisgracelordjoe 2 years ago 2

Ghostfuture 2 years ago
Don't be naive. If you have no substantial claims to back up your assumption then please remain silent. I'm not going to tell you to research this because we both know ou won't, but I think it best if you just stop with these baseless accusations (it is way past slanderous). Oh, and for the record, no one ever said that practicing this technique is an easy way to become a martial artist, so please no more "argument by false association."
hisgracelordjoe 2 years ago
Ghostfuture,
Have you heard of the expression - " Work smart not hard ". Just because you train till you sweat a river doesn't mean you're a good martial artist.
Having said that... Who said Fajing is easy to use? Who said Fajing doesn't take dedication to use proficiently?

Well, I know that those who are convinced that it is fake won't change their minds, but I just wanted to vouch for the fact that this guy is not faking his facial expressions. I know that it can appear that way, but if you've ever spent any time with him, you would soon realize that he is a highly animated character, and that that's his natural "shocked" expression.
strangeindeedy 2 years ago
umm...i like never comment, but couldn't hold back...well, just something to share to the community, there is nothing strange or 'fake' about his facial reaction...it's pretty intuitive really, the book is directly touching his chest...get someone to push your chest wall while touching it...u'll understand...
i know because i've tried this move very lightly on my cousins for fun and saw their surprised reactions...oh, and i don't have anything to prove, so don't bother asking me to...

evilcore66 2 years ago
it's not little momentum, it's converting max momentum into impact. they didn't show the 12898 or the one that rebooted their computer. wish they did. he explains history of this technique in his seminars. Glen traces his lineage with a 'senior' on the new ep. why not ask Glen these questions on his channel?
ninjoeperez 2 years ago
If he claims for it to work on the principle of 'having very little momentum' then why claim such a high pressure? Logically speaking it makes no sense.
Besides, they measured in V.C (for only his punch too) and never showed the 12891 result at all.
No information on the net (noone knows him) as evidence for his training or proof of the "most powerful punch in the world", other than on this shoddy episode, and on the forums it seems senior trainers are calling him out on his ninjutsu technique.

I agree. Its BS. When giving a demo you always use a student who can act and fall the best. They are both good actors. You try that shit in a real situation when someone is on Meth. He is giving people false confidence. I have checked him out extensively and I cannot find one vid or fight where he is really getting it on. Just talk Talk Talk "Oh but he cant fight full on because he is a "Ninja" and he would kill his opponent with one single blow." Yeah blow it out your arse!
funnyblood 2 years ago
what part of this is BS my friend, I have trained in internal power for 2 years and can strike like this, i have done these strikes to my friends who do muay thai and bjj and they say they have never felt such power. this is called shocking power, it comes from being relaxed and using body mechanics. its very real i can assure you. believe me you could kill some one with this kind of blow, these blows are for weak areas of the body like the neck, heart region, solar plexus, pressure points.
israelifaggot 2 years ago
Yes its real brave to do it on someone standing still. Do it in a real fight situation when there is no such thing as calm and relaxed.
funnyblood 2 years ago
what? and end up killing someone. these strikes are not aimed for the arm or legs. you attack the heart, the neck, the eyes. i would only use this if my life was in danger.
israelifaggot 2 years ago
As I said. Do it in a real situation. ie real = life and death. Street fight. Its mad, no one just stands there. But hey if you have such control under adversity you will have no problem not killing someone.
funnyblood 2 years ago
its not about being calm or relaxed in fight. you train these moves until they become instinctive and automatic. it just comes out naturally when you are fighting, there is no time to think and try and calm yourself down.

They must have shallow egos - both of them - or be making a lot of money.

so what are you saying: -

2) dickhead glen levy is not really doing fajin
i don't like glen levy, he seems like a weirdo and a retard but the fact is he does have real fa jin. they measured the power of his hammer fist on fight science and found it could stop a human heart. how can you deny such empirical scientific facts, you should do more research.
israelifaggot 2 years ago

Well for one, I didn't say fa jin wasn't real - what you're doing there is trying to use 'argument by false association' - a little like saying 'oh, so you're saying a hammer fidt can't stop a human heart therefore you're anti-science'. BS man - pure BS. ANYONE'S hammer fist can stop a human heart - or start one - it's called CPR. But this video is clearly fake - look at the guy's face - it's fake. Obviously. Have some pride in yourself and don't defend fraud.
Ghostfuture 2 years ago
no, i agree, that guys reaction does look fake but what perplexes me is glen levy does genuinely have a powerful hammerfist so why would he have to fake it.

Ghostfuture 2 years ago
Ghostfuture, have you looked at the other hammers Glen has posted? there's record of them all over the place. they and some machines can't all have decided to 'fake it' for him. and that's just the ones taped. as i said to israeli, find him and experience one for yourself. see where your respect goes after that. i've seen glen perform it plenty, and i was there for this one. i was at one of the fight science tapings. he wasn't faking it.
ninjoeperez 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
For one, what I said was, the person holding the phone book is faking it - look at his face, tell me that isn't a fake face.
Ghostfuture 2 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
And another thing, it can't be said enough - ANY human being with intelligence and honesty in their soul will look at that reaction - it's you is it? ... and know that that is a shill, faking it, out of some stupid sense that he has to commit fraud to boost another man's reputation... clearly not realising that in the process, he's ruining his own. If this is what you promote, then shame on you. Shame, shame, shame.
Ghostfuture 2 years ago

But that's just me and I'm a stubborn, skeptical bastard.
crozsi 2 years ago
We're all stubborn and skeptical. i've just been lucky enough to have (one of) my questions answered. it's funny, as odd as it sounds, Glen was skeptical when they did the tests as well. there was an actual strike they had to rule out because his fa jing shorted out the equipment. i wish they put THAT one in the show. but there's so many questions--can he set it up in a fight? cross-hook-hammerfist? ...yet another question....
ninjoeperez 2 years ago
BAs Ruttens kick was 2.7VC. VC is the amount of damage done to the body, not the amount of force.

herrkamphenkel 2 years ago
i won't explain it; there's plenty of that to be found. but because very little momentum is generated, the force stays in the tissue. the electricity created by the fa jing seeks the nearest nerve plexus and overloads, or at least confuses it. the body reacts. that's what you're usually seeing from the receivers--the body reacting to the effect. look up glen levy explaining impact vs. momentum. i'm just someone who's seen it and felt it trying to explain it. see it in person if you can.
ninjoeperez 2 years ago
Compare the two fight science videos of him and Bas Rutten's kick. Same scale but Glen got 0.8 VC whereas Bas got 2.1. Still pretty skeptical about the 12,891psi claim... I mean if Tyson (who he claims is 1200) hit the asian guy in your other video at full power (which is still a quarter of the power Glen claimed to have hit that master with) there would have been much more damage. Also the "world's most deadly man" title is self-proclaimed... Sure it's a strong hit but come on people...
crozsi 2 years ago
Here's the thing. I've seen the bas kick as well. it's a damn horse kick. NO DOUBT it does some serious damage. but also look at how much the dummy moves. much of bas's impact is lost to momentum. Like Bruce Lee's one inch punch. from an inch, he was launching people 15 feet. but they always sprung right back up. it was mostly momentum. The points of Glen's strike are: transfer energy completely to object and no further. and fa jing application. that's the weird factor.
ninjoeperez 2 years ago
so what you mean is put the energy in your oppnent not push? are there eny videos that show how?
