I'll be honest...to use any kind of glitch just ruins a game and a gamers reputation. The grind is a part of the game, yes it sucks, but it's a part of the game. But I'm pretty sure you know that already. But you did admit to it so it's not as bad as it should be.

With that out of the way, the walk through itself though is great, along with the commentary. I was in the same position as well, I got stuck at Anor Londo because I didn't know where to go while there This helps lots, thanks.

I don't understand why people go this nuts because others are cheating. People have their ways of enjoying a game. And if there's a shortcut to the awesome stuff, I bet I'd take the cheat aswell. For whoever doesn't know, you can use the painting when you get the item that is where you started. You have to go back to the Undead Asylum and go back to the beginning, theres a doll that lets you use it

i did the soul glitch thing but it was after i beat the game. it's kinda stupid to cheat on your first playthrough, it just takes out the feeling of success when you beat it.

hey man i just pointing this out you probably already know but in the beginning when you run past the chandeler hanging from the beams walk on if you hit the chain the chandeller falls down and you can get the item on it

With the painting, you need the peculiar doll. Go back to the asylum and to your cell. It will be there. As for the chest when he was on the rafters, you have to roll on the statue a few things down, and there's a door. The chest contains a divine blessing. Message me if you have questions.

The large knights are easy to take out if you use poison arrows on them from a distance stay put. So three or four poison arrows does it per giant knight.

@ReviewZoneHD I gotta say, I apprecaite the glitch video I saw. I wasn't having an issue with the game's monsters or bosses because I've beat Demon's Souls legit a few times but the pvp usually destroys me because it's based so much on lag. Thanks to that glitch though, I feel a lot more competent because of the spells and power I wield so I actually enjoy pvp a helluva lot more, now.

@DragongodZenos The only thing about the glitching that sucks is that like.. Everyone is going to do it, then like.. All the normal leveling players aren't going to be able to summon people a lot. Not as many people there because there will be so many people like, around lvl 420 n stuff. It'll be like a division between the people exploiting glitches and the people playing it real.

@Jaxqwertyable It's just called a GreatAxe it is a great axe and requires enormous amounts of strength to use and it can be found in the depths near the campfire by a bunch of rats. His has been modified into a divine greataxe meaning that it scales with faith and has magic damage

Now that I have you guys' attention, the painting is a doorway that leads to The Painted World of Ariamis, a VERY difficult area. To get inside, you have to return to the Undead Asylum. To get there, just search it on YT. When you're there, you'll have to make your way all the way back to the cell you were in in the beginning. Here you'll find the Peculiar Doll, which you need to access the painting. However, it's difficult to get it, as there's new, hard enemies in Undead Asylum.

as I said, it's up to each individual how he wants to play the game :)

I just wanted to express, that it's not necessary to advance that high in lvls + it definately isn't needed to use a glitch to get souls.

There are enough farming spots that give enough souls and if you actually have a plan how you want to build your character, then you don't even need that many souls for upgrades and so on

@ReviewZoneHD I kinda like the glitch you used and will do it to when I get to it but I've been using a AI glitch at the moment just because it makes the game more enjoyable when I feel so much stronger. I know the game is supposed to be hard and take a long time leveling up but like you I would probably lose interest in it after I beat the game, but now that I know I can just level up to max I want to keep playing it and just kicking ass and getting all the special items.

@twinturboteen18 well its funny to me bc i was just making help videos to explain what to do in the game but ive had to block like 50 people so far for extremely nasty hateful comments because i leveled up on the glitch. What people dont take 2 seconds to think about is i only had a week or two to put up these 73 dark soul videos that i uploaded, so grinding out levels to keep up with the game wasnt an option for me. I havent even played dark souls since i put up the final video.

Hey that painting its a pathway to the World of Ariamis and to go there you need to get the Peculiar Doll which is found going back to undead Asylum and there you will fight the Stray Demon which is beneath the one you fought at the beginning of the game!

@SnowAura1337 All you do is hold down either the circle or B button when on the ladder. (The trick is that you have to be still, it won't work if you are moving up or down with the left stick.)

@ReviewZoneHD to get through that painting you have to have a strange doll, to get it you need to go back to the asylum where you started the game. its in the exact same room that the game opens up in, a dark knight is gaurding it. the painting gives you acess to a new area called painted world of aramis, theres a boss there and you can cut off her tail for a secret weapon

@ReviewZoneHD Thats understandable. I personally would never do it because I find a lot of enjoyment out of the challenge. The only time I mind (and is probably why most people have such a problem with the glitch) is that it is a pretty PvP heavy game. So it's fine if you need the extra handicap to tolerate the difficulty but I have no respect for those who exploit it for over powering other players online.

After you get the "peculiar doll" from your old cell in the undead asylum you use the painting to go to the painted world where Priscilla is the boss.

Her soul is used for the Lifehunt scythe.
