Point #2: I agree Christ is a relationship NOT a religionship!!

Point #3: Religions are WORK and as we can not work ourselves into God's good graces there must be an atoning sacrifice = JESUS. However, on the specific wording of "anti religious" being "anti" infers that time will be spent creating an effort to go against religious causes. I get what was trying to be stated however the Bible also says to let your yes be yes and your no be no, applied here = say what you mean & mean what you say!

Rather than spending our time (including me) arguing over like this, we should praise god with that extra time we use for making arguments. Correcting each other may be needed, but we also need to be careful. Sometimes that could hurt a person's feeling (not that it always is)

@zfiveo although it is in Db, you could argue that it is actually in Gb, and that when he goes to the Ab chord, he is just modulating (instead of saying that he actually is playing in Db Dorian). When i played it with them, they told me it was in Dm lol...which as you stated, isnt quite the case. Theyre so naive about how to play their instruments (not how to sing, but how to play), but theyre talented regardless.

@qcylax944 Maybe they told you Dm because that's the first chord position they use, but they use a capo to raise a half tone. And to correct you, the song is in Db, not Dorian or any mode. A key is not necessarily restricted by the chords, specially the first chords; it's more about the melody and the accidentals they may have. This song is a "perfect" major key and it's not modal at all.

she's doing a 3rd part, which isn't as good as the original version, in my opinion. God bless 'em and their efforts with Bethany, but next time, I think this talented sister should just stay in the seats and listen to this amazing song like everyone else is...

I currently serve at a Church that is religious... It pains me but many of the attendees are only at church due to their religion, not their relationship with Christ... In fact, their relationship with Christ is all but dead... Works should be done out of desire due to the relationship... Thus we have this song...

Clothing styles isn't in any way relevant to today as a Christian. Christ left it up to us to decide by our own conscience what would bring people closer to God. It's perfectly fine for a Christian artist to dress according to what they know will be accepted.
