Great video, you seem to be a great family, and your dads reaction was pure and genuine, great job guys!!!!! Anyone who posted anything negative about this video is just an idiot!!!!!!
What a wonderful video memory you have there. Your Dad's reaction was priceless. He was just like a little kid. I would have been too. I think most of us males come out of the womb loving motor bikes and scooters. This video reminded me of my old cushman and the great memories I have of riding it.
You might ought to get a prof. video made of dad riding it so one day his descendants can see what he was up to. Take a look at mine at my ID page..my youtube name is Stanroc
The first motor bike I ever rode was a red cushman eagle back in 1960. As a 5 year old I used to ride on the back metal rack. It vibrated terribly but I didn't care I just wanted to be with my Dad. Thanks for sharing it brings back memories.
Wonderful video! The dream of many of us from that era is to own an eagle or at least a Sears moped. Dad wouldn't let me have one back then. I'm now looking for a Sears 1960-62moped.
shouldn't you folks be living in fear, bombing Iraqis who "attacked you" and giving 1/2 of your earned by labor income to the IRS to pay the interest to the privately owned "US Federal Reserve?" But you didn't know the "US Federal Reserve" is privately owned and not part of the US government, did you? But it is privately owned and that is where your income tax payment goes, to pay them interest. Look it up.
People like you make me fuckin sick. You sorry SOB. Then you got the guts to come over here and start shit. I sure wish you people was around in WW2. We'd have blown your fuckin head CLEAN OFF. I wish we had the strenght like we did back then. BOY you people would have a RUDE awakining. As for americans living in fear, i sure as hell dont but by rights you fuckin snakes SHOULD BE.
we are bred to be materialistic. our minds are shot to hell. we cry over cushmans and don't give a sh-t about other people. my dad has a cushman in his basement.

Keep your America hating posts to yourself, this video is simply about a restoration I did for my father and the joy he experienced receiving it.

Great restore. I know he's happy. The front brake lever is on the wrong side, tho.
morgietheblackdog 3 years ago 2
Actually the front brake on the old Cushmans is indeed on the left front bar unlike modern motorcycles.
