I feel like a dinosaur. I've been using 3 1210s since 1990 and I've just bought a Mac Book Pro, Ableton Suite and one of these. So far, they're awesome. Ableton's fine, I don't see the fuss, it's not like I can't beat mix for fuck's sake.
surely jogwheels are handy for cueing tracks on ableton, and therefore would be helpful on this controller, any advice would be realy helpful, as im choosing which one to buy
100% agree... the audio interface in this would not compare to a proper stand-alone interface. and on a big system, i'm sure the difference will be day n night.
drop the inbuilt interface and just keep it as a pure midi interface and drop the price, vestax
what- like $800 isn't expensive for what is essentially a bit of plastic and metal
other controllers are expensive too, compare the price of this to say a technics 1210- now which do you think is better value for money in terms of manufacturing costs

Hi, i need help!!
I'm planning to buy one of these but you can get a KORG zero8 for some $200-300extra .
The vestax vcm 600 doesn't have a sound card, Will i need to buy an external card to use it properly?
What would you buy in my place?
felipeaca 2 years ago
I'd buy this and a good audio interface. I don't generally trust built in sound cards.
