Well if the GROWL should count then they should allow everybody who accually made what in MY opinion (yes, my opinion which doesn't mean it's the correct way to think) is a note, to upload a growl instead. I'm sure some people will manage to make a lot longer notes then.

the grawl is a note too just a very low frequency note and in the rules they did not specify a frequency therefore it is a perfectly acceptable note. in the rules they did however say only one video per user, in which case means no you cannot try again just because you did nt think to do a low note.

They're looking for a continued note. This "grudge" is not continued (if you listen closely, you'll hear it break at certain points). Besides, a note is a musical sound or note. A voice is "merely" a frequency.

That at the end that you were talking about, though, didn't sound like a note at all and I don't think it should be counted. It sounded more like a very long burp. :P

There is a point in everyone's lower register where the vocal tone transitions into a vocal growl. The difference is that in the vocal tone vocal chords are tightened and loosened to vibrate with different sine wave frequencies; whereas, a growl is using the vocal chords to click a note on and off in a frequency that sounds like a low tone. Growling is not a note because it is not constant and is broken.
I don't feel that the ''supernote controversy'' sound should count...it doesn't take as much effort to make a mindless sound like that as it does to make a proper note. ^^''

alot of the top ranked notes sound like there edited, and the ones that dont sound edited arent even notes, there little grunts. DONT COUNT THOSE GRUNTS!
