Hi from Victoria, I had the VEJI album and Sax freeabin was the track that resonated with me. Those were the days. Clare Alexander. Mark Hasselback at the International Plaza Hotel. I lived there @ The Plaza Towers on 2 separate occasions. And the late Dale Jacobs at Hogan's Alley in Puccini's on Main. Born in 1941. Let's reminisce. I'm @ iancsexton@gmail.com. I played piano for the winner of the 1983 festival. After the show, Paul Soles (the original voice of Spiderman) asked me to autograph his programm. Good times.

I remember the crowd going into hysterics and the standing ovation at the end. A highly inspirational performance for all who attended :)

Wow! I thought this would remain just a memory..I was their with my high school (A.N Myer) big band. I remember how as a 15yr.old this "music" opened up my ears to a whole new sound..quite a moment. I think there was another band as well that year from Quebec called Opus 17 or something like that, sure would like to hear that again.. they also killed along with the vegi guys. funny, the thing I remember most however was the bass players orange velour pants! they rule! thank for postin'

Yeowww..just smokin. Thanks for posting. Sax Freeabin is the cut that sold me on the vinyl that I bought back in 81. Never saw them, never knew who they were. Now this video puts sight to sound. Just smokes along. The 80's look, dudes so young but the music has no age. So fine. Thanks!!
