It's actually designed to fit the curvature of your hand, the xbox controller is all big and bulky.

I see what you're saying about the trigger being slippery, but it does work nicely for gran turismo. My main problem paying GT5 is the "analog" stick, which should be called the "logorythmic" stick because the second millimeter you move it has exponentially more effect than the first, and so on. End result is, it's hard to gauge the magnitude of your input when trying to make minor adjustments to your course, such as you might do on the Nurburgring.

i am happy with my SIXAXIS controller it has 2 flaws the rumble (which i don't really care about) and the 2nd shoulder buttons

the ps3 to me is very awesome the controller the graphics and the ps3 it self are beautiful

controllers turn off alone even with full battery and i had to fix it 6 times in 2 years

sega ms copied the nes controller snes and genesis controllers were not copied

then the ps1 copied the snes and added 2 more shoulder buttons the saturn copied the genesis and added 3 buttons and 2 shoulder buttons and n64 was one weird heck of a controller and it had the first thumb stick , then ps1 controller had two joysticks and the dreamcast came with one thumb stick and 4 b. 2 sh.

after that everyone copied sony's 2 thumbsticks even nintendo the xbox copied DC controller who gives a shit
