I suppose that's equal rights justified? The shame is the same. My coworker, male, came to work consistantly with bruises, black eyes, missing teeth, claw marks, etc. He would come up with an excuse for it everytime. He is oldschool. A scrapper, but would never raise a hand towards a woman. In order for him to "save face" as a man, he took the beatings. He moved away a few years ago, and she went with him. It does go both ways, but society is unwilling to believe, or accept, the truth.
