yor son is in prays.our son was born with hypoplastic left heart he has made ot through all his surgerys and had two strokes before two.he is now 7 a normal boy who runs jumps and plays. he dose get shortness of breath but he dose alright.stay strong mircles do happen.

@familygal70 Thanks for asking, Aiden has been doing really well (fingers X it stays that way for a bit longer) He has started school part time and still naps for 3-4 hours a day. I can't believe how my little boy seems to be getting stronger ans stronger. I'm trying to sort out another video of him soon. xxxxxx

My litle grandson Max looked just like this afte his second procedure, he is 3 now and tomorrow 2 August goes in for his cardiac catheter prior to having the 3rd Norwood Procedure in a couple of weeks so I totally identify with you. I hope that Max too comes through it.

Aiden is a "miracle" baby. As for my great-nephew, the leakage is staying the same but not getting any worse. But his doctors are monitoring him all the time. All I know is that Santino is a fighter like Aiden. I thought being born with a hole in the heart was bad. But being born with half a heart, that is even worse. I wish Aiden and your family all the luck in the world and I will continue praying for Aiden. He looks like he is a sweet little boy. Best of luck and God bless!!

Thanks for the comment, Aiden was born at 38 weeks only two weeks early. This was also planned so that I would give birth at a special hospital for heart babies. He was a health 7lb baby, if he did go to 40 weeks that would not have change that fact of him having half a heart. I would have just got a little more time with him inside me . xx ;0)

All of my prayers are with you. You are definately an inspiration to me because my great-nephew was born with a hole in his heart and had to have open-heart surgery when he ws four months old. Fortunately, his surgery was a success because he around five years old now. The only complication he has is that his heart is leaking. I will be praying for you everyday so you will get better. I've had a lot of hip problems and have had tonnes of surgery, 2 of which were quite big operations, it amazes me how resilient babies are, at least i can say what hurts a baby can't.

The reason I am letting you know this is because he is expecting his first child it is a boy and they are naming him Aiden Joseph so this was really weird. That person who posted that comment has no idea what parents like us have to go through with a baby that has HLHS . My son has had his norwood and his glenn . Plus he had to also have a valve repair. Your video among others have helped me to see that there is hope for my baby . May god bless you your family and your son. I have seen more graphic and unhumanly videos than this; this video shows how my son has lived through 2 open heart surgeries. A LIFE SAVED, NOT KILLED.

Maybe you should ask, before judging and you don't have to watch that's your choice.
