We have the same taste in lipsticks!! I love dark matt lips!! If you like darker reds i think you will like Vive Glam 1 (my favorite lipstick ever) and Dubonnet. Dubonet is amplified , but it's pigmented and as you said, if you blot and apply again it's very matt. And amazing color! Have you tried Media, by Mac? I'm between Media and Diva and i don't know which one to get!

You should totaly try mac's 'Hung up'. It is gorgeous and i love it! It is purple, but slightly redish and really nice, but you need to apply tons that it creates this red-purple effect, because if you just apply a little bit, it will look really light and not that purple!

I thnik it's called momochrome when you have one product but it looks like you are wearing to colours because the colour looks different in the different angles of the face! :)

Vegas Volt was my first MAC lipstick. :)

I have the same trouble with it, though, so usually, I just put on some lip balm, layer a bit of the Vegas Volt over it and blend it into my lips which makes it like a nice stain for everyday wear when I'm not feeling up to actually taking five minutes to do my lipstick. It's quite nice, actually, and it looks very polished. :)

@WildYoungThing no use use iMovie now! and i have a panasonic lumix g2, i use a huge window in front of me and only film when it's daylight which is a pain! i make sure the warmth setting is up on my camera though so i don't look blue if it's dull outside x

In london i know there is a MAC counter in Selfridges, a MAC store in Camden somewhere, also mac set up counters is a lot of nice department stores like Fenwicks and Hoopers (not sure about hoopers but defo in fenwicks) google it to find ones near you :)
