Lot's of retarded people have PP, so it's more like their brains got stuck at 1 year. Birds have it, frogs have it, maybe some dogs. Whatever. Most of those animals can't write a decent song. So is it any good? :))
I was not born with perfect pitch. Through playing keyboards for many years and listening to lots and lots of music I have developed it, at least nearly perfect, especially on keyboards. I think anyone can develop it, to some extent, if they just listen and use their voice to match and identify the range.
Having good RELATIVE pitch is much more important musically. So what if you can tell that something is a G? It's way better if you can tell that a given note is a third above another, etc.

another can u say another Perfect pitch "con job" Folks, perfect pitch is something you are"born with" 5 year old kids that have PP did not "develop it" They were born with the ability. Any PP course that says you can "develop" this are outright scams. Be wise and save your money...or...hey give it to me, and Ill show you everything Burge (the con man ) says about PP in less than 5 minutes! You still wont be able to "develop" PP but hey...Ill have your money:-)
yes I did the burge course...the lesson I couldnt get past was the one where he demonstrates the suposed difference between F# and Eb. Thats the first lesson. Ive tried the same test with other people. I tell them that one note is twangier and the other more mellow...and most people get it right away!! They can hear the twangy Eb and the mellow F#!!! amazing huh. After the hear it I tell them that its the other way around, You can sugest anything and people who wanna believe will buy the con.
This is not a lesson that you need to pass... it's just a taste... The important part is the drills you need to do and the tests you need to pass... I personaly know more then 1 person who developed PP this way... I understand your anger, but don't be to hasty to judge.

I've developed a degree of PP using his course, and a friend of mine who developed it fully, tought 8 kids PP already..... (her other 5 students are getting there)... not a myth nor a con, pure and simple.
