Word, Technic 1200's is THE best turntable, IMHO, I dropped one of mine and the joint still WORKED! LOL!!!

But my very first setup was a pair of Technics,belt drive, turntables...and a Realisitic mixer from Radio Shack! My parents brought me that setup when I was in high school...though I didn';t have the top notch shit...I learned how to mix (blend) on that shabby setup...the lesson, I believe, my parents were trying to teach me then was...its not what you have...its what you do with what you have.

Oh, I salivated once I finally got a pair of 12's...it was hilarious..I went from two belt drives...to one belt drive and a 12...from that to two 12's and then my uncle gave me one of his Numark mixers.

This was cool...thanks! Yea, the set up I've had since the early 90's is my 1200's...and my Numark mixer...the real wide numark mixer so I'm in the market for a new mixer and I plan to get the Serato setup.
