  • Remix of a VERY old song, but the remix is really good to my mind ! Nasha's voice is avesome !

  • @kolibrigp32 agree

  • The original is a roma gypsy song. Boris Fomin and Konstantin Podrewski wrote a russian text for this song (Дорогой длинною / Dorogoy dlinnoyu) and Alexander Nikolayevich Vertinsky was the first who sang this song 1917. Eugene Raskin wrote the English version, which he published 1962 with his wife under the name "Gene & Francesca" the first time. Raskin gave the rights to The Limeliters, they published the English song in the same year.

  • @sraczkin The original melody is called "The long way along" in russian.

The polish is just a cover version of Gene Raskin's english lyrics "Those were the days", which were written before the polish ones.

  • Nicee!!

  • shit shaggy

  • @sinan2011 you are shit

  • aline

  • The original name is Dorogoy dlinnoyu by Alexandr Vertinski.

The first english version was "Those were the days" by The Limeliters (later sang by Mary Hopkin).

  • Nicee !

  • RUSSIAN SONG

I CAN PLAY IT ON THE PIANO

  • Well, there is a polish song with this melody. But originaly, it's a russian melody "Dorogoj dlinnoyu", written by Boris Fomin (music) and Konstantin Podrewski (words).

The refrain of Shaggy's "Those days" is based on the english lyrics "Those were the days", written by Gene Raskin. And the polish version (yes, the polish song is a cover version) is based on the english lyrics.

  • The melody is Russian, an American called Gene Raskin wrote the lyrics for the song "Those were the days" this is not a translation from the Russian song "Dorogoy dlinnoyu" (Дорогой длинною) which means "By a long road"

The song Дорогой длинною, was written by Boris Fomin in the early 1900's with words by the poet Konstantin Podrevskii

  • Nooo, Its song "To były piękne dni"

    watch?v=g3O3UL28PyA

    :P

    Slovian Power :P

  • g8 song!!!!i really love this song gr8 rythem

  • Debilne

  • Wrong, the polish version is NOT the original. How could the it be the original when it was published in 1969 and the melody was written in the 1920s in Russia by Boris Fomin?

And by the way, the polish lyrics are based on the english lyrics, written by Gene Raskin in 1962.

So, the russian version is the first, and then came the cover in english, than in german, polish, spanish ... .

Maybe you heard the polish version first and think, it's the original, but, sorry, it's definitely not true.

  • there is also an old version of this song--gere in greece...the same music on the refren!!!

  • uuuuu come bebe

  • number one shaggy

  • hopa yaehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    -

  • can someone say the original? i m looking for it.

  • The Original is Dorogoj dlinnoyu by Alexander Vertinski.

Mary Hopkin's song is only a cover version.

  • The original name is Дорогой длинною.

  • the best in what

  • Oh lawds. To nie jest polska piosenka, tylko jakaś melodia ruska. Kunicka skorzystała.

  • @ VaSHyFFkO Yes, I don't know too, why a lot of people in the comments of the Videos with this song "Shaggy feat. Nasha - Those days" think, the polish cover version is the original. The polish song is even a cover version of a cover version (Mary Hopkin - Those were the days, originally Dorogoj dlinnoyu)

  • Yep, you're right. But udeniably this melody is great ; ) You know a polish ver. of this song?

  • Here, I found a record of the polish cover:

    /watch?v= MlVj_ssNbvI

And, yes, the melody is really nice.

  • Romania is the best!

  • c'était le temps des fleurs...

  • @enzonoam Dalida =)

  • It's not the original, the original is Those were the days by The Limeliters (1962) and Mary Hopkin (1968). And the Original of this is Dorogoj dlinnoyu by Alexandr Vertinski (I guess, 1920s).

  • @04279 you can listen to that one, while the rest of us enjoy this one
