@bIoodslash Well both times he's simply defending the Ring. In the first Halo, MC wants to not fire it and destroy it to: A. Keep the flood from escaping it, and B. to keep 343 from activationg it. In Halo 3, Master Chief wants to light it because it is the only way to stop the Flood from getting through the Portal to Earth, but since construction on the Ring isn't complete, Lighting it also caused it to destroy itself. @bIoodslash Well both times he's simply defending the Ring. In the first Halo, MC wants to not fire it and destroy it to: A. Keep the flood from escaping it, and B. to keep 343 from activationg it. In Halo 3, Master Chief wants to light it because it is the only way to stop the Flood from getting through the Portal to Earth, but since construction on the Ring isn't complete, Lighting it also caused it to destroy itself. So yeah, BOTH TIMES Master Chief is trying to destroy 343's ring...

When i heard Johnson died from my friend, i couldn't believe a damn thing he said: ( I mean think about it, he survived an explosion of 100000000 degrees, he got saved by the flood, hugged an elite (joke you know, he actualy did not do this ) and you could kill him in halo 1 (no joke-play it again) and he became an African Jesus Christ (sorry Africans and others it's true, along withHalf Jaw ) in Halo 2, yet they gave him a sad, stupid laser death to a man! I do know they were going to make halo a film, but it may take a VERY long to to how many swear words in the game have to be sliced off or modified, especially Halo is famed very mature to the ERSB for using ALOT OF SWEAR WORDS. So it may come, but it needs time and patience. :(
