  • wow it looks exactly like mexican schools.

  • Thanks for your slant on this issue. it nips in the bud any chinks in the armor of critics.. before I saw this I thought all asians looked alike and all had brack hair and brow-n eyes and were hard to understand.. oh wait its true..

why does asian dental insurance only cost a dollar?

Cause they all have buck teeth.

What does an asian lawyer do when he is losing a case?

    He plays the rice card.

Did you hear about the funeral home in Japan?

Its called "Jap in the box"

  • look at the teeth on that guy at 2:57

  • Reminds me of the J-drama LIFE.

  • just like the movie, GTO

  • it's pretty surprising how the students just leave all their stuff out..in my high school in america, the teachers have to make sure all the doors are locked, even if we are leaving the room for 20 minutes..and my high school isn't that bad or anything XD

  • i want to be an exchange student to attend japanese highschool !! maybe i should apply University in japan...but too bad at that time i would not get the chance to wear highschool uniform

  • First Music name?

  • If it were the US there would be like a thousand fat people....

  • @xHeCtiCR Not everybody is fat here. Ignorant bastard.

  • How long does each class long? When do students leave from school? Do they have club activities after school? Do they have breaks?

  • @IzabellaCullen watch some animes u'll get the idea

  • @Mustainedly

:O You actually write better than most Americans I know, actually. Several kids in my class (these were high school kids, mind you) who couldn't tell the difference between you're and your or their and there. I was actually kind of embarrassed that they were my classmates. And they whined that the novel they were reading didn't have pictures in it. wtf?!

Another note: Japanese is hard. I just started learning it. Thankfully, Korean is helping me in some cases.

  • @Soeisinger

I know that in the situation your talking about it was because they weren't educated, but I have problems with that because I'm dyslexic. Of course I have since taught myself the difference between those words. >:D They didn't conquer me!! Lol

  • @Damianmccl ooh your ass got told.

  • i just love how all the class have windows and in the us your like in a box with light studying

  • @xifumouse

I love those kinds of classes. They're so awesome. I went to a Korean school for three years and they had their classes structured like this too. I was on the first floor facing the school track and you can see the older students doing P.E and stuff. xD You can also see who's late to school or tease the classes next to you (we had our sentry watch out for the teachers, of course). Great times in Korea. <3

  • Why do those FUCKEN kids have toys in the classroom they do understand it is a school right unless they don't take education seriously in Japan from the looks of it

  • @Damianmccl

You do know that Japan is one of the top educational countries in the world. They rank way above America.

From the looks of your typing, you don't seem to take your education seriously either...=\

  • @Soeisinger hell EVERYTHING ranks above america in education....and im american lol

  • @Soeisinger Not all Americans are stupid. It's mostly due to teachers being lazy and kids doing whatever they want because no one controls them. Britain is wayyyyy worse.

  • @Soeisinger I'm pretty sure ALL asian countries perform better academically than americans.

  • @tangjkd Cause here in america kids don't always aim to be at the top unlike in asian countries being at the top is most of their top priorities, plus school they're is hella long I think.

  • @heybrowassup18 I dont think aiming to be the top is their "first priority". But generally, asian cultures heavily emphasize on education. Thus having high level of education has a very prestigious meaning and status to it. It shows that you are an intelligent being, and asian people generally look up to people like that more than movies stars or pop singers like in the US. Having a good education is an important part of their cultures, you cant just take it lightly like americans do.

  • @Soeisinger America forces all kids to complete through 12th grade whether you want to or not, where as in Japan, you dont wanna be there you go work the public works so yes your statement is true about secondary education... however believe it or not University education is actually more advanced in America (give it another 20 or so and more than likely i doubt it, seeing how students are now taught by mostly all foreigners...ironic isn't it?) but yes Japan is very educational

  • @Soeisinger No offense, as much as I love Japan, I don't really agree with you there. Just because they are dedicated (because society encourages/almost force them to be) don't mean they are smart. Not to mention about 90% percent does not have the ability to understand/speak English fluently. I'm sure nobody in that class, or in the whole school for that matter, understood fully what she was saying when she stood there.

  • @Damianmccl fail

  • Looks pretty ghett

  • I wish there were subtitles! Still cool though :) Haha, I love how like none of them understood any of the English even though it looked like they were in English class xD

  • GAAAAH!!! YUKARI SENSEI!!!!! D:<

(...On a serious note though- I can't believe how much the interior of this school reminds me of Azumanga Daoih and various other school-based animes.)

  • oh...its sooo cool...wish i were in japan....:(

  • The fuck..i couldn't stop laughing when i saw the teacher at 3:43 for some reason..

  • Ratatat !!

  • wow i hope you make more of these vids :)

  • REAL ANIME! xD

  • do they stay in the same classroom all day and the teachers come to them or do they move to other classes?

  • Please what is the song used in the backround?

  • @HyperXcube "Seventeen years" by ratatat :)

  • the chick : dude ratio is incredible

i'm apologising before hand if it's a all girl school

  • i wonder if they like uniforms... our schools are awesome, u can just throw on a pants and shirt, nd walk to the bus stop

  • @Elifuwa I never said it was a bad thing ¬¬ I said that because where I live we have to use our skirts at knees for school....

  • Very similar to the classrooms here in California: loud kids, quite kids, shy kids and goofy kids. Thank you for the video!

  • This school isn't as clean....

  • the teachers desks actually look like they do in anime.. i thought it was made up.. wow

  • so in Japan they HAVE to wear skirts? thats awesome xD im in middle school 9th Grade i live in Puerto Rico and chiks at our school have to wear pants like the long ones x.x"

  • So... Do Girls HAVE to wear skirts?

  • @rinrinri101 They have to wear the school uniform. While not limited to skirts, it usually is.

  • at first their skirt make you boner but if you stay in japan long period... you will get to use of it... its normal in japan...

  • wow, the classrooms look very stuffy and it look like it would be hot in the summer. I would probably fall asleep because the lights are off and it isn't very bright. :3

  • Fail! If I were you, I would nonstop talk to the Japanese English teacher in English to humiliate her. Because she can't speak English even though she teachs English.

  • 3:21 she introduces herself in Japanese and they go, "OoOOOoooOOOhhh...." and clap. LOL

  • @Kestrelcloud That's just their version of being polite. They give insincere compliments to make you feel better. Notice they are actually completely unimpressed.

  • I've never encountered a Japanese school recording where the girl's do NOT flash the peace sign ._.

  • exactly like manga T_T

  • ummm i have a question do ANY students or teachers there speak and understand english cause im gonna move there in a month

  • cuteness overload XO

  • Liked the school uniform, I dislike the teacher lounge... It looks like a safe haven for rats.

  • 2:41 LOL they were like OMG she said 'bideo' (video in japanese).. xD

  • What's the background music?

  • Why I live in france WHY ?!!!!

  • @TheDovakiin Why I live in finland WHY??!! i hate the winters in here :((( it's so...cold..no not cold i mean FREEZING!! *_*

  • because you live there :)

  • ノーマルな日本の学校ですね

  • @yukivmao あなたは学生です

  • @XKawaiixAngelxxx だから?

  • @yukivmao ので、あなたは?

  • @XKawaiixAngelxxx what did you say?

  • For a "1st world" country The classrooms in Nippon seem to be a bit crowded. How many students in a class room? Japan may be an advanced society but after watching several of these vids there's really nothing special about their students(in a non-offensive way)

  • @kijijikubwa

Like 40 or even more :)

  • @kijijikubwa i see where you're coming from but it might be because we're used to having more advanced and more "upgraded" stuff i guess. For them, it might not even be that big of a problem. I still do see what you're saying though. The highschool my dad went to is still standing exactly the same when i went there a couple years ago haha.

  • looks more fun then usa schools T.T

  • its cool how they can leave their stuff in the class at break knowing that they aren't gonna get their crap stolen

  • @kave213vids

wut? In what countries do you get your shit stolen? oO

  • @Kjernekar lol do u mean shit like feces?

  • @Kjernekar America, my friend :(

  • @kave213vids Yeah but in my school the (which is in the us) I leave my cell phone for 2 seconds, and... bam stolen.

  • @kave213vids Not all uniforms here are like that :) At my school, we get a choice of a longer or shorter skirt. And most girls with shorter skirts wear leggings underneath.

  • @ferziitha94 Not all uniforms here are like that :) At my school, we get a choice of a longer or shorter skirt. And most girls with shorter skirts wear leggings underneath.

  • @kave213vids oops, sorry, wrong person to reply

  • @kave213vids where do you livet that you have to fear that? o.O it's normal to leave your stuff in class even in germany

  • @Nachtglanz20 in california hehe

  • @kave213vids In china too, but I really get things stolen many times

  • @kave213vids right? I'm half Japanese so i lived in japan for a while and when i moved to America i would put my stuff down for about a minute and when i either came back from the bathroom or if i turned around my stuff would be gone.

  • explain please? are you like living in japan for just ..living.. or is it some program? i would really appreciate it if you respond <3

  • Wow that is so cool!! Thanks for the video!

  • @SuperEvilSquid

Actually, at least the mangas I have seen, just about every thing in manga is related to it's true counter part, mostly being about Japanese culture. Of course it depends on the type of manga and the direction it is taking, but if it is a present day setting I would not be surprised if it was not real. Obviously magic, demons, giant robots etc are not real, but holidays, cherry blossom trees, bento lunch boxes, etc are.

  • what's the song?

  • If I might ask what are some of the things you like most about Japan and what were some of the things you didn't like? I know you would miss being away from your friends, and your home but what else stands out? I've been told that there are a lot of great things but that transportation/pollution/and the occasional perv are disadvantages. Was this at all a problem where you were? Sorry for asking so many questions

  • @GreenTaurosGuy

Occasional perv... you refering to Japan? Most of the American boys are pervs and some times the girls are no better... in fact what place does not have it's share of pervs... Japan is one of the safest places to live from every thing I hear about it coming out side of Japan and obviously Japan it self.

  • oh my gosh! girls' skirts are really short! just like in a manga O:

  • @ferziitha94 hahaha you think those are short??? they look amish compared to my school...

  • @ferziitha94 yes ,that is godlike

  • @ferziitha94 they dont looke nearly as hsort as in anime and manga they look about what a skirt would in the us

  • @ferziitha94 They actually wear skirts,Here in my country it's an epicly rare sight to see a girl wearing a skirt Q_Q

  • @BlackxOni1 wow really where do you live??

  • @luviindream Croatia...But I guess I can't complain lol.

  • @ferziitha94 lol they would look really hot if they have a long black socks XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • @ferziitha94 We have another pervert :D

  • @juozas223 I'm not a pervert ;( I'm just a 17 years old girl, in my country we have to use long skirts for school, that's why I said that!

  • @ferziitha94 i think they just shorten their skirts and roll them to make them look shorter

  • @ferziitha94 they are as short as the ones my middle school class used to wear and i went to a catholic one

  • aww that "gomennasai" that boy said was soo sweet ^.^

  • I love how everyone does the peace signs lol :)

  • Ahhhh! I wanna go there so bad. I'm from BC too! XD
