It probably wouldn't be a good idea to try and open this up while on the freeway or something right? Maybe in the streets when stopped at a signal or if traffic is slow on the freeway but other than that its probably not a good idea to attempt opening this thing up while driving i assume. Wouldn't want strong wind flipping it back, forcing it to open faster from high wind pressure.

Need something like this for my KITT replica. Not seeing a motorized version on the site mentioned, only the manual flip. Too bad Ohio refuses to do away with the front plate law. Both of my cars look horrible with them.

most people in the midwest that own hobby cars have winter beaters buddy. KITT replica, pontiac transmarobird...nobody drives those in winter, I store my AE86 at my G-pops house and I still have to find one for this winter...After every winter I take the winter beater to the local demolition derby, its fun...

@Reuterskiold Well, buddy, I was simply stating that it might get screwed up in the winters being mounted really low as they are meant to be. I wasn't referring to a hobby/show car. I just don't like the look of front license plates on ANY car, unfortunately it is required by law in the wonderful state of OH.
