Very nice. I never really realized that you don't have to have a full ghillie suit to blend in, you just need the right tone in your camo.

Just a warning though, mesh goggles are highly unsafe. Sometimes the BB will go in between the mesh, sometimes it will rip right through it, and sometimes the BB will shatter on the mesh, getting shrapnel in your eyes.

True, that clothing can really help, but garnish does add to it and make it better.

Mesh is a topical material for eye protection. However a vast number of players DO use mesh masks every weekend with no problems. In Hunteering, gun play is at a minimum (I get 22 for 2 days on the m40) the chances of a problem are vastly reduced compared to skirmish games. head shots are few and far between. To be honest I can't even remember the last time I actually got hit in the goggles.

Well, if it works for you, it works, I guess. I have to use ANSI rated goggles where I airsoft because everyone uses 14 RPS 400 FPS guns and aims for the head. Lol...

Just got back from the annual Enduro. Cheers.

The goggles are for logging (stop woodchips going in your eye) I imported from the US. not sure where from, as its been a few years. They take a while to get used to and you wear them slightly off centre to use a scope. They have 10 squares per inch. They will stop a 500fps shot pointblank but then they are not as strong and need replacing.

The fact you don't fog up is worth using mesh IMO despite being darker and less sharp at times. GH ;)

Depends on what yur site allows. I suggest a good compromise to start with is to wear light weight shooting glasses (with good side protection) and a neck chord and a pair of mesh goggles round your neck. Only swap when you steam up.

If you can get away with it use shooting glasses.

No, you sew small elastic loops, onto your clothing. Otherwise tie rubber bands onto your kit.

ghillie garnish is whatever material you choose to use, some like burlap, hessian, jute, etc. You need to research it better. Leaf litter is just areas of dead leaves on the forest floor. Good Hunting ;)

i am getting a commercial burlap type ghillie suit but i also have access to a large net....

should i just use the net and stick some natural foliage from my environment or do like i was originally going to do and buy the burlap ghillie and drag it through my environment to make it blend in and look a little more natural?

Are you using the net to make a hide? If so then add foliage (if it is summer) but out of season you need ghillie garnish of your choice to obscure you. To add foliage double knot rubber bands onto it. Once in position also throw leaf litter onto it. Hope that helps.

400fps is fine for most woodland environments. Much depends on your location and season as to what power is best. High power setups can sometimes mean you end up not finding anything far enough away to shoot at. I have a 400fps rifle and I really like it. Good Hunting ;)

Ive just bought the Warrior MB-01 L96 Airsoft Sniper Rifle from action hobbies what would u recommend would be the best way to camo the rifle (taking into account the bolt action firing) and what ghuillie suits would u recommend for airsoft in woodland and grassy areas, as im wanting to get my sniper look for when i go airsofting with my friends in our usual skrim in the woods near where we live. and with using small clip magazines do you use a sniper belt system at all?

I call it the most difficult style of hunting there is, where your prey shoots back, and you can become the hunted. I enjoy hunting small game aswell, but this is more challenging.

Very nice, love your camo. Just interested as to what rifle you are using? I bought a maruzen aps2 last year and parts for it to get it shooting pretty hot, but i couldn't get things working together properly, so lately i've been debating on trying to get it fixed up, or selling it and going for a gas Tanaka.

APS2 are very fiddly to get shooting well. I suggest the VSR10/BAR10 is a far superior platform with amazing performance. The gas rifles have more variables to consider and need upgrading to compete with the vsr platform. My advice to all players is to have a good spring rifle and then go into gas. You can always drop back onto the spring rifle in cold seasons. Good Hunting ;)

It is a 1.5-5x20 nightview compact. I suggest you don't go over 40mm scopes are they get very easy to spot from distance (hence why I use a high quality 20mmm). 3-9X32 is a good choice. Good Hunting ;)
