Magma which rises to the surface and is exposed then solidifies, and that creates extrusive igneous rock. These processes and many others have been continually occurring since the formation of the Earth's crust, around 4.5 billion years ago.

Magma also accounts for very little by comparison.
There are no other processes for the consecutive layers of micro sediemnts to form.
You know nothing. 20 million years is enough to erode all of the sediments into the oceans.

To all the non-beleivers in evolution. I have seen an ape evolve into a human being right in front of my eyes - in less than an hour! It was beautiful... The hair fell of in a minute, he began to form english words in 20 minutes. I felt warmth from the occasion, there was a dimmed light. I was so stunned i forgot to take footage of it. But it HAPPENED!

How can a living, reproducing cell in all it's amazing complexity just make itself when it wouldn't be able to live and reproduce if it was any less complex. So what did a living cell evolve from? a dead one that couldn't evolve? It just makes no sense to think that something as amazing and complex (with all the right bits that do all the right jobs) just made itself,, and then went on to turn into Humans that can say, "wow, we just became the eye's of the universe so it can knows it exists.

I remember watching a program (recorded in a few TV cassetes) hosted by David Attenburrough and saw him aging through the series. This was in late 80's or early 90's and I was a kid. Back then we didnt have cable. Dont remember the name of the program though.
