Why choose macintosh or PC when you can choose both... ...I'm getting a "Hackintosh" thats for sure. Some problems in the begining but after that smooth as silk.

Some advantages of a Mac is hardware/driver compatibility, if you're willing to buy more expensive Apple hardware to begin with. iPhoto is probably better than anything you'll find for photos anywhere else. And you could make the tired old argument about no viruses, because Mac only has 9% of the market. That's really about it though.
Microsoft is good for ripping off your money and mac is worst. Linux is free and safe but it has a longer learning curve not to mention that some particulars just don't work on Linux. BSD isn't quite at it's best for desktops.
If you want a good OS build it yourself but then you'd have wasted your life (literally) to build a crappy kernel which I doubt will be better than these.

i recently went into the new mac store here in town and compared software. and i could not because mac cannot compare to the pc with software. it just is not going to happen.

All Macs are made out of aluminum except for the low end MacBook. As far as upgrading, the Mac Pro is just as upgradable as any desktop PC: cpu slots, ram, graphics cards, pci slots etc. As far as laptops, Macs carry the same ability to upgrade as the rest of the industries laptops, which is little due to welded components to reduce space. You should actually read what you are writing...talk about "smugness". Somebody can just say "i like Mac" and receive PC fanboy smugness.

Microsoft needed to respond to the Mac ads they were getting a bit out of hand. I think the fact that it didn't make much sense adds to the nostalgia of the ad. Gates is class!

I think its hilarious how they took part of the mac commercial concept and formed a basis for a very intelligent commercial. I love them! Especially the im a pc and ive been stereotyped. Living in Bill Gates' world? What a joke. All Bill Gates did was take operating systems from other companies and developed Windows by using unethical practices. The world around us contains technology of thousands of inventors. Even computer hardware, which Windows runs on, is never even made by Micro$oft. Thousands of different companies make computer components. Bill Gates' "technology" only consists of a computer operating system. That is only a very small part of modern tech. lol

These ads are a lame attempt on Micro$oft's part to try to improve their image after millions of users have been leaving for Mac and Linux year after year.
After decades of producing crap products, monopolistic practices, ignoring the needs of the customer, and being a greedy evil empire, people are now seeing Micro$oft for who they really are.
These ads are a lame attempt to try to make Micro$oft look cool and friendly. Sadly, the ignorant masses and sheep will continue buying their crap.

Cheesy white box? Macs are some of the nicest and best designed computers on the market. You know that the majority of PCs out there are bulky, cheap plastic layers. have gaudy buttons, toy color schemes, big ugly fans and port bays, crap screens etc.
lack of compatibility? Macs run the MacOS, Windows, and Linux and ALL software that is made for each platform. There is not s single piece of software they cant run.
elitism? PC lovers are guilty of that, the comments all over youtube prove it

Ha...my 7 year old Compaq is more durable than your Mac that is designed NOT to be upgraded. "Cheap plastic"...hmmm, and what are most Macs made of...oh! Plastic! But it is a special kind of plastic that embues the user with a smugness only found in the Mac user. "Crap screens"...they are ALL made in the same Chinese factories, as your beloved Crapintoshes.PC users are "live and let live" types, until they are told they are somehow inferior for building their rig, and/or not running OSX.

All Macs are made out of aluminum except for the low end MacBook. As far as upgrading, the Mac Pro is just as upgradable as any desktop PC: cpu slots, ram, graphics cards, pci slots etc. As far as laptops, Macs carry the same ability to upgrade as the rest of the industries laptops, which is little due to welded components to reduce space. You should actually read what you are writing...talk about "smugness". Somebody can just say "i like Mac" and receive PC fanboy smugness.

In my 12 years of using computers, not ONE has crashed on me. I have not seen this blie screen of death (I have had freezes, however).
Don't like Gates or WIndows? Then get off of this channel called "WindowsVideos". Some of us like Bill Gate's sense of humor, as well as the Windows OS (I prefer XP to Vista)...
