I've loved this band for a long time, but one thing I never realized is how excessive Jeff's pedal setup is. Nels has far fewer and he's the one generally ripping. Guess it's his (Tweedy's) band and he can have what he wants.

nobody listens to my morning jacket. I love wilco but jim james can sing and play jeff tweedy under the table. I will admit Tweedy's song writing is more dense and chord progressions more clever. But MMJ as a band is much tighter and their interplay is on another level.
