  • One song in particular that I have been wanting to hear solo acapella is men of Harlech. I do not know if this would be in your range ( I admit to knowing very little of such matters ). If you think this song is good and you deside to make a video of you singing I would be most greatful.

Here is a link to a good version with lyrics.

  • Very, very good.

  • Such a lovely soft voice... well done :)

  • That was great, i like your vibrato. Little bit flat on the descending notes at the beginning but i always do that too. I only wish there was background music with this to make it one tempo.

  • agreed... ;o) I noticed the tuning shortly after posting the video but didn't feel like going back and re-recording it.. eh well.. haha

  • you are good. And you didn't even had a BGM, awesome voice very well controlled and flawless melody

  • Beautiful rendition of one of my favorite hymns.

  • wow he should go professional!! screw that tumble weed paul potts this guy is better!

  • you have talent!!!!!!!!!!!

  • meraviglioso giusto bello

  • That was lovely! I have to play this piece in church next month and was looking for some interpretation to inspire me. This performance was about as good as anything else I found. Thank you for posting that!

  • At 1:13 you were really focusing your tone. You need to do that all of the time. Your sound needs to resonate from your face. I know that sounds abstract, but that's the key. You must work to have the same tone support all the time. This is more difficult to achieve on the lower part of the voice. You have a very nice voice- keep up the good work!

  • Go back to the music and look at the note values. Some of them are incorrect in your rendition. You are also scooping up to some of the higher notes. Try getting lower breaths and using your air evenly throughout the phrases.

  • I do agree with not sounding like groban or frangoulis wich are more.. pop. I would recommend more corelli and Pavarotti of course but, nice mechanism, soft connection of the air in your vocal chords.. maybe more support of your diafragma would be better. Congratulations

  • I think you have a very nice voice but I would recommend you open your mouth more - you will get richer tones. I would also say watch some of the Mario Frangoulis videos and Josh Groban - you need to not be afraid to put more emotion into your singing. Good luck.

  • hmm... dunno about the Mario guy but I'm alright with not sounding like Groban... not a big fan...

    But thanks though

  • @torosax you're instrument is far superior to that of Groban...there were a few patches where you were slightly off-pitch but not by much...that was excellent...anyone that says you should listen to Groban is vapid. Listen to Gigli, Caruso, Domingo, etc.

  • @mmkkllppoo Wow, Thanks a lot!!

  • nice version. well done.

  • your good for choir. but i dont know about hip hop or any other genre. But stay in the choir shit if you are already in one

  • 'i´ve seen that...ur a little version of paul poots hahaha very nice voice dude!! :)

keep like that and go to the (somewhere) got talent...u´ve a nice one =)

  • Wow... that was beautiful.

  • Love your voice!

  • nice!!!! NICE!!

  • I was expecting something pretty dreadful but you sang it beautifully

  • Wow dude, great voice!

  • ARE you an actual opera singer by proffession, or are you just born with a voice like that dude?

  • lol... thanks man, well I've sang my whole life and then in college I majored in vocal performance.

  • awesome!!! i got chills, you have a beautiful voice!

  • oh god ! What a voice !

  • man, i wish i had your voice!

  • Un diamante sin trabajar.... Lastima.

    Mala respiracion.

    Tu voz es buena.

  • What a beautiful voice. You are an inspiration!

  • BRAVISIMO!!!

  • great vocal range.....you just blew me off my feet!

  • beauthiful

  • The first seconds say it all.

    You are very well controlled.

  • Cool man your good weldone.

  • wow!! your really good but try to open your mouth and let the the sound come out your really good!!!use your diaphragm and that will help you to produce more sound but other than that you are really great!!!!

  • Man, you need some background music. But you ROCK with no support! I would like to hear you with some back up.

  • Very nice indeed!

  • Its irritating when people sing the T in gratia. You have to sound the T different. Not the T in caT but a T without the S sound

  • um... you kinda lost me... if you're referring to the word gratia pronounced gratsia... that's the proper latin diction for the word... otherwise I'm just lost

  • Oooo....I see, I thought it was just an accent people have. I thought it was the same thing in con te partiro where people sing it with a ts instead with a t

  • there are a variety of ways different people pronounce Latin words. Modern Italians do not prounounce exactly the same way that ancient Romans did and medieval Europeans pronounced it different still. Since Schubert wrote this in German one could really translate it into either classical or medieval Latin. Personally I am inclined to go with classical.

  • I have also heard this translated into modern English as well as Elizabethan English.

I also wanted to make a point that if you listen to some well known tenors you will notice they do not all pronounce the same way either.

Either way this is an exquisite rendition. Absolutely beautiful. Would like to hear the second verse sung as well. this recording really stands alone and does not need embelishments but I would like to hear it recorded in a studio.

  • sounds like a Gregorian chant, monotonous if u wanna sound better put more emotion and variety into it. Not dissing in any way...good voice tho!

  • i loved it

What do ye think of my effort, the JS Bach/Charles Gounod version? I do it Phil Collins style (flat voice). Try url ending on xxXVS7ndYio or 4ViVshlYVk8. RJ

  • Great, thank you for sharing this

  • that's because they want to be stars not real musicians like this young man.

  • beautiful voice and vibrato

  • Splendid! Beautiful!

    You are "torosax" the magnificant.

    Thank you very, very much!

  • Lindo! buen control.

  • it's called American Idol GO ON IT =D

  • HOnestly, to sing like you do, to be able to express emotions with a voice that's almost hypnotizing is truly amazing. Not only that you seem like a pretty good guy. Keep doing what your passionate about.

  • Wow! That was great.

  • Love it, you have a great voice. I would love it if you did a second version but slow it down and give more weight to the silences, give the whole thing more gravitas, I think you could do more justice to the piece and your voice. My favourite version of this piece is by the spiritualist singer Maria Anderson - have you heard this?

  • Oh... i can't sing that way.

  • Veeery very good, you have a great control of your voice and i think u sound great, I mean it.

  • excellent voice brother. i cant help myself, but ur very goodlooking to ;)

  • yeah yeah, I'll kill you for your voice haha, blew me away. Nice

  • Bueatiful

  • Very well done sir, you have a fantastic voice

  • that horror!!!

  • Omgosh! I would not exspect that out of you! Gorgeous.

  • Yes.

  • Your voice is gorgeous!!!

  • youre pretty damned good sir.

  • wonderful...when and where can we see you on stage ?

  • Nice! I appreciate the monk-like chanting sound of this piece. Your diction is pretty much on the mark. Congratulations and thanks for this heart-softening song. I look forward to hear more from you in the future!

  • goosebumps!

  • Great voice and sincere rendition! Surely you sing professionally?

  • yup sure do... thanks for the compliment!

  • this is beautiful!

  • Sooo beautiful. You have the voice of an angel. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent with the world.

  • Wow, this was amazing. You should quit your day job and become a singer. :)

  • Are you a monk? your hood says or indicates something. Or is that just a costume for this Ave Maria song? Good voice!!!

  • LOL... nope definately not a monk.. hehe... was just cold so I threw on a hoodie... but thanks for the compliment!

  • Very beautiful and moving.

  • Honestly, when i saw the still image of the video i said to myself :"Ok, lets see another one pretending he can sing" What a surprise i came across, as i listened to your voice, very clear and musically acurate. Not to mention the good air control. Thank you for not being a mediocre artist.
