in china, fur is like meat..they eat everything so they also skin everything. YEAH, doggies and kittens are skinned alive DAILY in china. Their furs are sold as rabbit, raccoon or wolf fur around the globe, INCLUDING your country. Even if u don't care about wild animals, if you care even a little about your pets, DON'T WEAR IT! it might be ur cat's cousin there:)

I just bought two furs for my wive for x-mas. She loves them. They keep you warm, they are great to look at and they really are windproof. So whats the big deal if you have to get some animals killed for it? If you know of a way to get the fur off of an animal WITHOUT killing it, let me know! Until then: Killing animals for furs is the ONLY way to actually make fur coats.

there are humane options. faux fur for example, if u love fur so much. u get the look and feel of fur without actually wearing a dead animal. i honestly don't see any reasons to why anyone would feel like they need to buy fur. it supports a horrible industry that kills animals in the most cruel, awful ways possible.

when an animal is skinned it is skinned alive. when their skin of gone, they are still alive, suffering. imagine being skinned, with nothing but your bare muscle and veins showing, and STILL being fully consious until you died after hours of the feeling of raw muscle all over your body. animals are just like us, they just look different. they feel pain just as much as we do. faux fur is exactly the same as real fur. why not save a life, AND money?

If you're processing an animals flesh for consumption, then why not make something out of the skin? Assuming you're not going to cut the skin into strips and fry it of course. Put it to use one way or another.

Im pretty sure rabbits, racoons, etc; don't have the same emotions as people. They have feelings, but not neccesarily emotions on a human level. Im also pretty sure they don't love us much, if at all, since we are not their offspring or relatives, since those seem to be what rabbits would have animalistic, affectionate, proto-love feelings towards. No creatures should be raised or killed cruelly. But doing so humanely seems perfectly fine. And on fur, I guess its not necessary 98% of the time.
