there is no white clip on the red and black wires from this battery pack, the wires are just on the board. so I guess I can't remove the battery..

my controller won't charge at all so I opened it to see if there was something disconnected

but so far everything seems to be hooked up right

@MsOmgnowai So there was no like holding box for the wires it just ran straight to the circuit board. and this may help what dualshock are you using and what does it say by the indactators whay player you are. Like a Dualshock 3 Sixaxis.

right, the wires are just going straight from the battery to the circuit board.

The controller has all the correct markings (dual shock 3 six axis, SONY on the front and the jewel looks identical to my other controller that I'm sure is real) but I'm now convinced this is a counterfeit after taking some flaws into account..

and the fact that my dad got it off of eBay XD

its REALLY easy to get pissed of with this, is for me anyway. Your video is perfect but im using a tiny screwdriver thats like an inch long, the placstic digs into my fingers and they are really hurting. I'm sure the last screw I need to get out is screwed (no pun intended) Oh yeah, and I'm using a Philips head screwdriver, instead of a positive!

@binjoman It is not illegal to do anything with your PS3 controller. You payed for it, you can do what you want with it. There is no voiding it. There is no copyright that says you can change the use, the look, or the greatness of this. Its just like putting RAM sticks into your PC to speed it up.

wow this took me forever to do. easy to take apart.. but putting it back together is almost impossible. took me about an hour to put it back together because the R2 & L2 buttons just wouldnt line up. I gotta get a whole new analog stick, including the mechanism/component :(

2 Different sets of Copyright laws. Taking apart a PS3 controller and modding it may void the Warrenty. But reproducing the controller from your house is illegal. Just like making a copy of a CD/DVD/BD
