This is actually pretty harmful. To take into consideration that "Party Snaps" use rocks for the reaction. They can easily be projectiles, and hit your eyes.

I did the same thing last year, and when I was unrapping one of the poppers, it exploded in my hand. It didn't hurt, but it was loud as hell. My ears hurted then.
