This is not installing compiz, compiz comes with ubuntu, you are only getting the effects manager.

you can find a lot of themes in gnome-look (search for "gnome-look" in google or someting) and you can ask people at ubuntuforums (search for that as well)

Compiz Fusion works in openSUSE, but you will not be able to install it th way you can in the video. If you go to Compiz Fusions home page, you will find a download link for openSUSE.
