When this is playing while Cyan's talking with his family in WoR Doma, that got pretty emotional. It was a cutscene you just didn't see in other sprite-era Final Fantasies, and the music is what really made it. You had to be soulless to not keep Cyan in your party after that.

Find me another Final Fantasy... Hell, find me ANY GAME... that can boast such a diverse range of characters of such depth, and such a storyline! Well, depth except for the obvious (Mog and Gau really don't have much to contribute to the story, but Mog is cute and Gau kicks ass, LOL).

@DanielL5583 Funny you say that, I agree. The characters in FF6 seem more heroic than any other FF heroes. Squall, Cloud, Zidane, Tidus, Ashe, none of them embody half the heroism of any of the characters in FF6. They all appear brave though.

Cloud lost his hometown and Aerith, he still has Tifa as a lover as well as his friends.

What was Cyan left with? An empty castle, that's what. Though I'd guess that when the world came back, Cyan rebuilt Doma, surely there must have been more towns that just Mobliz destroyed. He probably restored it by promising them a home. Heck, I'd be suprised if he didn't at least offer Terra and the Mobliz orphans the chance to come.

Cyan is probably one of the most honorable characters in any Final Fantasy game. I really felt sorry for him. I mean his whole kingdom, including his family were murdered by a mad man. He basically said "fuck it" and went after the whole empire, trying to defeat as many soldiers as he could.

He was an ok fighter to me, but his theme is one of the best I've heard in FF6 or any role playing game for that matter.

Such an honorable, top-notch warrior. Can't get any closer to the epitome of a gallant knight's deeds. The part that stands out in my mind is when he sees the ghosts of his slain Elayne & Owain on the phantom train as it departs into the fog. Shadow told Sabin "Leave em alone".Though he endured much he still remained righteous&magnanimous in spirit. Maybe he went back to the ruins of Doma.

Unfortunately, Cyan was one of the weakest characters, unless you bugged him with that silly Retort-to-death bug. But, maybe he was one of the weakest because the others were so powerful: Terra, Sabin, Edgar, Celes, Gogo and Gau didn't let much room for competition on the power levels. Anyway, Cyan was a badass and that is what counts, right?

Besides, SwdTech wasn't that bad against high-defense monsters (the lvl 1 one ignored Def).

@darkemg But if I recall correctly he had some of the strongest weapons to offset that. I equiped him with the genji glove and two of his stronger weapions (I forgot which ones) and pretty much had no problem chopping everything down to size.
