How to start an entire song from start to finish - instruments, vocals etc, would also be great idea I don't know if all these are included when you buy the program or you just have to view all these youtube videos and learn through them....!
Hi folks, I am a songwriter and new to mixcraft and have ordered the latest **mixcraft Pro studio box version**, (through amazon.de) -- I don't consider myself very familiar with sequencers and I am also a *newbie to Mixcraft* are there any step by step videos for beginners on Mixcraft - I also have songs I recorded on other software, can they be uploaded to mixcraft and remixed, and how - in other words * MIXCRAFT for DUMMIES*.......would appreciate this very much

Hi, I am new to mixcraft who would like to see many more step by step videos on Mixcraft - or step by step on more complex songs with vocals....editing vocals and instruments, importing VST's into Mixcraft, mixing and mastering etc...
Hi Acoustica, thanks for providing so many easy-to-follow tutorials. I think Mixcraft is a brilliant programme, especially for those new to production. I've just posted my first two songs (electro-pop). Still a lot to learn but I'm pleased I'm making some progress after not getting anywhere with other software. Thanks again!
can someone please message me and explain how to create these vocals in mixcraft so they sound smooth and nice like on a professional cd. i recorded my friends whose genre is hip hop, but i can not get their vocals to sound professional like on a cd. please someone help me.
Ridiculously useful set of videos, I needed this EXACTLY when I started out and had to figure it out on my own. It's nice to see folks doing this for free :)
i ave a question. everytime i try and and drums from the sound library such as synth hop. my guitar parts and singing always come out of sync. and it sounds all wrong. any help with keeping my song in sync with the drums avalable on mixraft. i dont have a real drum kit so i can only use the mixcraft drums. thank you to anyone that answeres my question
Hi Eric. You have provided me with some excellent advice with regards to mixing and eq'ing the various components and track instruments, but I use a lot of keyboards. Could you offer some advice re: mixing, eq'ing. panning keys please? I'm using mixcraft 4.5 at the moment.
@Zordid0 ok dude i post up a question about how the drum tracks avalable on the software never sound synced up with my guitar tracks and singing. is it just because the guitar and singing have odd timing or am off beat. but what can i do so my song can come out good with the backing drum track?
@cannabisdeathmorbs you have to tweak your DAW (Recording software) in order to solve that problem, go into the audio options of your daw and play around with the latency times and also with the midi options of sync. (pardon my english If I didnt make my self clear)
I'm using Mixcraft 4 at the moment. I have about 30 songs recorded but have no experience/idea re: production. I still found the mixing/production advise incredibly useful! thank you!!
Hey! I was wondering... Whenever I add drums to a mix I've already made, it tends to get fuzzy, even when I listen to it in my ipods headphones, and then the sound quality gets really crappy and you can't hear anything. Is that just the drums? Or can I download or buy anything to make the sound quality better?
@ElizabethZenteno Can you popst an example mp3 somewhere so I can hear it? Adding drums or any other instrument doesn't cause bad sound. There are tons of factors to consider though, where are you getting these drum sounds? Do they sound good outside of mixcraft? Are you recording them at too high a level?
@acoustica222 Lol, well that was weird... Once I made it into an mp.3 it stopped making the fuzzy noises, but it still is fuzzy on the actual mixcraft screen. I'm using musical typing to do three guitars... and library drums. When I play them by themselves, they are fine... One more thing I have noticed is once I've used and made a part with two to three different instruments(musical typing), it will keep playing as that lastinstrument whenever I try to record something else...
I have a question. How did you get MX5 to record seperate tracks for your drum mics? By that I mean, can you tell me what tools/mixers/patch bay equipment is between your mics and your computer?
@rootsoundstudio I have two M-Audio Delta1010LT cards in my computer, which gives me 16 analog inputs. You can theoretically plug mics straight into those inputs, but it is recommended that you run your mics into a mixing console, then output each chanel to an input on the sound card, which is how I do it. Then simply arm Mixcrafts tracks with inputs 1-16
@YoungBMr901 I am not sure I understand the question. You can use any mic with Mixcraft. It records what it hears, so if the mic sounds good, the recording sounds good.
@winterraintheband Coincidentally, how to mic a drum kit is one my very next videos I am working on! Subscribe to our channel and you'll be notified when videos are uploaded.

@shortbusheros4 The SM58 mic is as low as $99 new, I am sure you could find a set of them on craigslist or somewhere for cheap.

@shortbusheros4 I just did a search on craigslist and found all kinds of deals on SM57's 58's and others. One guy has one of each for $50

@shortbusheros4 if mics are too expensive for you...... try using ezdrummer or superior drummer 2.1 if you can "get it" xD
