Hello TitliNihaan. I've tried this with whole milk and the paneer is fine but once I start to boil them they break down into little pieces so no more balls. What am I doing wrong?
@TitliNihaan Its the milk. They do something to the milk in the stores over here that 'destroys' it. I just bought wholemilk straight from the cow and the paneer is fine and so is the rasmalai. It tastes great!
I can tell you that this is an excellent rashmalai recipe. Rashmalai is originally from the Bengal region, and I have eaten Rashmalai in legendary stores in Calcutta and Bangladesh, and this one you have here is true to the original. The Indian/Bangladeshi versions tastes differ because of the milk used and they use a lot more sugar. Your version is healthier. Thanks for bringing these great recipes to the West.
u make it sound sooo easy!! last tym i tried makin ras malai wid milk powder n eggs. dint turn out so well, thou the taste was yumm..........but however, i will try this version too!! thnx titli!!!
Hi Titli, I love the way you talk. Could you tell me, from which country you are and where do you live? Because, you wear salwar sometimes, but you make many kind of dishes, not only from India or Pakistan. Are you from Iran?
:) love to see you again and again. i wanna to show your videos to my mom also.
I'm in love with rasmalai but don't own a pressure cooker. Have you ever tried making them in an ordinary pan - and if so do you have any recommendations about how to get the best results?
@TitliNihaan I am about to convert to islam. So i was trying your food.
I tried to make rasmalai (cow milk from belgium) all went well. But when i start eating it it is kind of hard from the inside. I want to make real rasmalai like the commercial quality which is soft from the inside.
I love Rasmalai and yours looks sooo yummy!! Well done! Although i dont have much time so imma stick to the frozen kind by Nanak which by the way has been the best Rasmalai ive ever tasted ... Dont take me wrong im sure yours is great too! (: ALLAH HAFIZZ
ok Titli, but if a pakistani is criticising about what you did wrong, be the bigger person and accept it. we're only helping so next time you can fix the tiny flaws. its just the method of cooking that makes it actually Pakistani food. it's only better for you. you have no idea how elder women from pakistan are. our mothers are ALWAYS telling us NOO, dont cook this way! even tho its been yrs we're doing it. you shouldnt feel offended. Gd luck! props to you that you're so interested in Paki food
Presuming you are English it is imperative to say ,like an Indian you cannot sit in India and make a perfect beef wellington similarly you cannot make a perfect Rasamalai sitting in England. No offence and cheers to your efforts!!
@ustinov10 I don't aim to make a "perfect" anything! Many people these days are brainwashed into thinking that they shouldn't even try to cook anything unless they can cook it "perfectly", whatever that means. People should simply enjoy cooking and eating the food that they make.
@TitliNihaan Like I said that there are minor flaws in your cooking but its okk to enjoy but never attempt this rasamalai in a restaurant as it is not the perfect one. Thank!!
i did not realise HOW simple this was so make! All those years of buying the ready made version! Thank you Titlliii!!!! <3<3<3 So going to favourites :D

what is this I don't know at all. It is difficult to make and very small portion after all this effort and I think it will be tasteless because no salt no sugar . If I'm wrong sorry everybody. I it like a cheese or a natural butter. Quite different for me
Mmmm how yummy does that look? Titli, you are a genius! Can you show us how to make sticky date pudding. I live in Australia and it's my favouritest dessert!!
Titli, instead of stirring for an hour for the final stage, could you use evaporated milk - warm it up and add the nuts etc and still get the same flavour? Reducing milk is such a pain!
i used to work in an Indian restaurant and I was slightly addicted to the Rasmalai, I never thought about making it at home..never mind making my own Paneer...yum SO tempted
