Last time I looked up a set of REAL E36 bosch headlights, they run about $500 a set. You get what you paid for. Obviously you have terrible taste, and know nothing about BMW's.

I love my E36 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 9.4HP in the 328i. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

The e36 series m3 was different between the European and US versions. For one, the European 3.0/3.2 engine puts out around 280/312 Horsepower, and the US version of the 3.0/3.2 are around 220/240. European also had a higher Stock Red line...

chapc1 is right about it not being stock, he's got a carbon fibre intake, adds 60+ hp over stock air intake... but there is a diff between the eu and american one :)

Yah it does, but it harmonically balances the air entering the engine, its also much larger intake than stock, the whole intake manifold adds that power supposedly 'upto 60hp' but this would be no problem achieving that, the intake itself is $600+ for a cheapie

I think you're confusing this with a CAI or something of the sort, this is the intake manifold that feeds the ITBs...

It is still a manifold. It is just before the throttle bodies, rather than after a single throttle body.

@SrtRacerBoy not really just an intake, an intake would be the single pipe holding the filter, a manafold controls the volume of air that flows through the engine and depending on the material and way its been shaped the speed this volume flows. on the us m3s the intake was actually designed to decrease power to make it comply with us obd2 standards for emition controls... so yes 60hp is alot but definantly possible (although idk about this one)

why did your AB light show up?

i fix mine, check my videos, something in the instrument cluster,and the OBD round 20pin socket.

individual thorttle port block the engine sound, it was restrictive airflow.

Sounds like your VANOS is a bit rattly at 0:12.

Man that Euro Spec Engine Sounds soo much nicer than my US spec M3 engine. I've sure the added power is nice too!

If you have airbalance you dont gain horspowers. You must only carbon airbox without airbalance and special software in control-unit and than you gain about 20-30 horspowers ;-)

That is actually 210KM and NOT MPH. so this would be 130799 miles . It really depends how well you take care of your engine and know for how long to rev it.
