America and Explorer are the two fake space shuttles I've been on. This attraction was the shit when it opened but I think the concept is now stale. I don't know how portable the ship was but it would have been nice to have it moved somewhere else, maybe sold, as a display.

at least Chang is replacing this. oh wait i forgot those fags at SFGAdv couldnt settle with the fastest and tallest roller coaster on earth and the number 3 wooden roller coaster. oh no we can wait its only been 7 years. they just HAD to take that ride away from us. @jonrev you usually know twice as much about Great America as i do. are we still getting Chang or is there no hope for us?

@AsItNeverSeems Allegedly, the closing date for Scream Machine is July 1. If this happens, then I think it may be pretty much settled as to where Chang is headed.

Everything in that area of the park is closed except for gokarts. The only thing they do with Shuttle is use the building for rides department training.

I was there yesterday as well and it is still closed.

C'mon 1000 Views! My gf Lisa and I at the time stopped at that Wendys Oasis before heading to the park, she had some tortilla wrap and the next time I saw it, was on the floor of this ride, lol! I actually had to shout to tell them to STOP the ride only to see puke was covering all over the bars and everything, poor Lisa... but I remember going back other times when it was raining and running through over and over... "anyone want a non-motion seat?" haha! This ride will be missed!

i was there last week, I was upset that they closed the ride. I hope in return they build one massive coaster. on another note avoid the dark knight coaster it sucks

I loved this ride. That sadest part is it is still there. I went yesterday, they have guy working near this ride. I wonder if they'll make it better? Someone should start an online petition to bring it back.

nice to see a POV! And your brother making the noises in the background made the video better I think. Because one thing I really remember about the ride was people doing the "UhUhUhUhUhUhUh" thing when the ride would shake.
