Thanks for an amazing tutorial! I have only one question, what do You use modulo 1 for? Having added a value to the phasor you perform modulo in order to have the step shift? I don't quite get it, if You could explain it, I'd be grateful :) Regards
Wow. This was awesome! Sounds so much better that the "gizmo" thingy in max. How Do I calculate how much to change the phasor, to change into exact musical intervals? (to make a harmonizer for instance) ?
Btw - what are your education ( - since you know so much about soundmanipulation).
@lmnkable Yeah, I meant to touch on that from the start. Check out part three, I talk about how to deal with the change in pitch rather than the phasor speed.
I studied computer science in school, but spent a lot of time making what could be called music, if you were feeling generous.
any plans to compile a tutorial series (given the luxury of time obv.)? In the style of jamesrmooney, peterbachelor or baz tutorials. It might be a little 'below' you, but did you get the Electronic Music... Maurizio Giri book? Keep up the good work....very very enjoyable 10/10
@ronnie9253 Lol, I promise nothing is below me. I haven't heard of that book, I'll have to check it out. Yeah, with time I'd love to do a motivated series. I'd really like to do something that actually culminates in a piece or something... but yeah, time is the limiting factor.

Months of MaxMSP knowledge, packed into what, like, ten minutes? Awesome, there's so much here I can use; sorry to hear about the Sheen thing tho!
