Having shiny buildings in Beijing does not mean that they have their laws and controls in place. In countries like where I'm from, Canada, there is Health Canada, which overseas and constantly checks up on standards. There are clear regulations. Everything has to be labeled and it's against the law to forge and lie about ingredients and listed quantities.
