  • Street fighter 3 is #1!

  • gran pero graaaaaaaan video 37:08 es muxo tienpo

    :p

  • man, as much as I love SSFIV, when I play SFIII and SSFIV, I can't help but feel like the developers took a step backwards in terms of gameplay mechanics and features. Am I wrong in saying SSFIV is just SSFII in 3D?

  • @zidaneff I kind of agree, but I think graphics are a bigger factor for me in comparing the two. SF3 series is just so beautifully animated, and all of the characters have a great style and "crunch" when their hits connect. Compare Dudley in 3 to Dudley in 4, and to me it's like night and day. Even just his standing animation looks more elaborate in SF3.

I dunno, I think 4 is a good game, but maybe it just feels more...manufactured? Almost like it was the box-cake version of SF.

  • @KillYounglings I agree completely, but it's kind of a moot point to compare 2D sprites to 3D polygons. Then it becomes a matter of preference. I could totally get into another Street Fighter game with sprites. Maybe SFIII with HD sprites ala HD Remix, but keeping the fluid animations. That sounds like it'd be worth $50 to me. Or maybe just me.

  • SF3 series shit on all the others. I still play this and Generation, and 3rd strike to this day competitively. Thank you Emulators.

  • Where do you get those pics!!!!

    12:27

  • that was all combo and tech blocking with no damage.

  • My best 37:08 minutes wasted in my life ♥

  • Why does Castlevania's Slash play in the video?

  • Man, I wish the developers of each char went head to head. That would be awesome!

  • This video is fantastic, classic styles!

    @nigmar

You sure don't make an effort to keep up with SFIII's tournaments anymore, otherwise you'd know Ken and Chun players are now a dying breed. Diversity has spread, players are still getting better. You sound like the typical sort, so I'll guess you never effectively got to use the parry system and therefore think it is useless. Funny guy!

  • @ohmilsacerdote38 agreed

  • did u draw da character illustrations?

  • This is nothing short of impressive. Great job.

  • Dude! Thanks for uploading- I couldnt find much on SF 3 NG for the longest time, so i put together my own, but this one takes the cake- Good stuff and happy holidays!

    Gunbar26

  • The credits say that the main combo player, BUG, also drew the character illustrations

  • nice video

  • hmm, these other street fighter 3s besides 3rd strike had some good music too

  • the quality was too bad for me to finish the video...

  • what is the difference between all the SFIIIs? I recently got 3rd strike and like it a lot. but what is the difference between that and these? any new characters or anything?

  • Third Strike is the last revision. It has the most characters.

  • 3rd Strike added Remy, Makoto, Twelve, Q, and Chun-Li, 2nd Impact had Urien, Hugo, and Akuma's debut.

Through all 3 versions, there's been tweaks in the system and added/removed moves. Some characters that don't seem so great in 3rd Strike can be really beefy in 2nd Impact or New Generation.

  • And thats why I fucking HATE crapcom fighters but SF3 3rd Strike. All those BROKEN ass infinites and glitched stuns and everything that WAS taken off 3rd Strike THANK GOD!!! Also I really see why 3rd Strike had a body makeover to be a technical style rather than BS BROKEN worse SF3 New Generation and SF3 2nd Impact.

  • Without the good and the bad from the previous 2 games you wouldn't even HAVE 3rd Strike. Also, there are still quite a few busted things in 3S, so don't act like your shit don't stink.

  • @nigmar MvC2 and CvS.. LMFAO! Those crappy casualized crossover fighters can't hold a candle to 3rd Strike, or any Street Fighter III game.

  • @strykah92 dude sf3 is pretty lame. It's like the bastard child of the street fighter series. MVC2 will be played in tournaments long after everyone forgets about 3rd strike. The only cool thing about 3s is the music. Super Turbo is just a better game. Don't agree? Look at street fighter 4. It's more like Super Turbo. Everyone wants to forget about this crappy game exept you diehard 3s fans.

  • @nigmar Care you elaborate on why SFIII was lame and why ST was a better game? Progession wise, Capcom did nothing differently going from SFII to SFIII, compared to the very first Street Fighter progressing to SFII.

And you're damn right about the music, us, real fans of the fighting genre will be GETTING IT ON while all the casuals, part timers, get TAKEN FOR A RIDE.

  • @strykah92 the parry ruins the gameplay and the game is totally unbalanced(Ken and Chun run the game). I know marvel is poorly balanced but the gameplay is solid.

  • @nigmar the parry ruins the game? in what world? parry system require more skill so if you want a competitive gameplay it surely help. The fact that sf4 doesn't have it doesn't mean it was lame, infact that absorbing dmg shit is definately lamer, in my opinion. SF3 is not the bastard son of sf is just THE CHOSEN ONE, almost the perfect fighting game ^_^

    i could play it forever

  • @ohmilsacerdote38 AGREED SF3 is THE ONE

  • The Street Fighter 3 combos is really something.

  • whats more important? timeing? or speed in button pressing? or a comboof both? as I find it hard to do all but the most average hits!!

  • cool video, sucky that they left out those cool super art backgrounds in 3rd Strike

  • lmfao @ Hugos palm bomber juggle at 25:15

  • sick Ryu combos especially the last at 5:03, wow fucking hilarious. I will try this to see if it work on the Dreamcast that I have. wish me luck...

  • wooooooooooouuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ibuki bused my reitna's, i had to borrow my momz. HOLY SHIT THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • nice job very good combos all ^^

  • goodness.. yun really did go crazy in this

  • can you do an infinite with that spinning punch that Necro has? here and in 3rd Strike? or is there a limit?

  • 21.53 is most Godly Yun combo ever.

    99hits!

  • I'm also a fan of this game excellent game. The combos are just as spectacular as it was damaging to your unlucky opponent?? (If theres one!!!), but, those where just showoffs and can't be applied in real situation as there where no players controlling your opponents!!! It is still possible in the first 3 matches though......

  • ryu's shin shoryuken loop at 5:02 is hilarious

  • seriously, that's insane

  • which is better, this or third strike?

  • ..Did anyone notice Alex was saying "Pimp Slap"?

  • I watched the entire 37:08, and it was pretty impressive. The combos were expertly done, the art was cool (is that fan art or official Capcom art?), and the end credit song was a nice touch to the ending.

After seeing this vid, I also want to play 2nd Impact. Too bad theres only 3rd Strike for ps2

  • thanks for upload

  • i hate the editing

  • Anyone know the title of the song during the credits?

  • where'd you get the concept art from?

  • castlevania music in the beginning `-`

  • Wow There is no Knockback effect for any of these Characters and there combos.

  • what is Knockback effect?

  • Oh a knockback effect is the thing that kinda pushs you character back from your opponent when your pulling a combo off on them in the corner or when your excuting a pressure string. It suppose to prevent loops and infinites from happening.

  • Yes there is. In the video, several combos need to be done with Karas. I guess the knockback effect isn't as accurate as the arcade version, since this is probably the Dreamcast Version.

  • Yeah your right it's just not a good one.

    Sorry ^^

  • nah this IS the arcade versoin otherwise all these would be in practice mode.

the maker of the combos was just very precice

  • Or it can be on the arcade mode of the console version.

  • most likely on the emulator.....or waste a lot of money playing this on the arcade showing beautiful combo on the game

  • No, it's arcade mode, because there's Free Play at the top.

  • Yes there is. Some of these combos need to be done with Kara (Hugo for example). The knockback effect is probably isn't as accurate as the Arcade Version, since this is probably the Dreamcast Version.

  • Ooops, double post. I thought the lag didn't post it. XD I still can't figure out how Skillsmith even cancels that MK launcher to Palms for Yang.

  • MK Super Jump Cancel then Palm but very fast :) Too bad that it's not possible on 3s though :/

  • Oh so that's how it is done. Thanks. I think it's possible in 3rd Strike. I've seen one or two matches where Yun players MK cancelled to Genei Jin. Maybe that's different *shrugs*.

  • In 3s this kind of cancel can be done only with supers :)

  • i bout a dreamcast and this game at a garage sale lats sunday thats wierd who would want to sale a dreamcast

  • i think its console recorded

  • The "free play" at the top right is a sure sign it's the arcade version. not only that, but if you're really observant you'll notice that the last combos for each characters are from New Generation, and the combos inbetween are from 2nd impact. look at the super background if you don't believe me.

  • yeah like i played sf3..i just watch combovideos cuz they look good/hard

  • hey i wanna know what system are that guy playing on? arcade, console or on his pc? was he using a joystick to do all his sick combo or with a pad?

or keyboard? =] that would be off the hook!

  • i always question myself bout that too

  • sick video.

  • guau impactante

  • Whoa at 25:14! Doesn't 2nd Impact have a combo limiter?

  • i think the EX is a reset

  • if the ex was a reset then the whole combo would have been a string of 3 hits onbthe combo counter over and over again

  • wow, double impact seems so much more fluid like than 3rd strike is..i'd like to play this game better than 3rd strike to be honest, not just for the juggling, but i love the fast paced style that games like alpha 3 had.

  • 37mins I thought youtube only allowed 10 wtf.

  • Godly Yun combos at 22:00

  • WHOA AT 13:40!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY F***! 37 min.? What the Hell??? Ahh, well, it's a good vid.

  • Where does the final soundtrack come from ? I just can't put a name on that music.

  • nice combos. but at 2nd impact jugglin seems way too easy :s

and parryin combos goes too slow...

  • How do you guys pull of using a special, but then a standard attack immediately after? Ex: at 6:45 Alex uses that "Sonic Boom" attack and immediately after does either a Short or Forward kick.

  • he uses the fierce version of Flash Chop, which backturns and causes enough hitstun whereas you can follow up with whatever you want.

  • Does anyone have the music of Shin Akuma?

  • It's my first time seeing the first and second installments of the series, but man, I didn't know their voice acting was this lame! (>w<)

And the sound effects sound kinda old, too...

So I see that there seemed to have been a huge improvement between those two games and 3rd Strike, huh?

And yet they look pretty fun to play!

    (>x<)

Man, I wish I could play those games at home.

My Dreamcast is wrecked, so my only hope is Ps2...

Well neway cool vid, it was really fun to watch!!

    (>x<)d

  • Well if voice overs and sound effects are the only thing that concern you then 3rd strike is better, but im afraid everyting else got worse in 3rd strike......far as I see it

  • Yeah?

More reason for me to want the games then.

    (^-^)

  • Do you know where I can find that track? I know it's from Castlevania: Rondo of Blood but I have no idea where to start looking and I really want that track. :X

  • Dracula Perfect Battle Selection: Op. 13

  • nice vid man!

  • anyone know where the character art during the intro is? I've never seen that art before.

  • This was all done on the arcade versions of the two games, LONG before the Dreamcast version. That's what made Skill Smith so badass.

  • The parries and the Hadou combos were good....though not very possible

  • wow at the Ryu combo. people at the arcade must have been pissed when they got done in by that. lolz

  • nice castlevania track at the start there

  • this is not a combo exhibition this is literally a combo movie, 37mins worth of combos =S thats serious!!!

  • lol infinites

  • ARGH, ever since I first saw this video, ive been trying to find the background music used for the intro. Awesome vid, I never knew there were infintes in SF3.

  • goodie.

  • The best combo video for this game .... however it is called "second impact" not "double impact" :P

  • Double Impact is the name of the Dreamcast release which includes both New Generation and Second Impact: Giant attack. The video has footage from both..

  • i didn't know about the dreamcast release, thx for the info and sorry ^_^'
