@corpeedo Actually what they are called does matter. The US Marines Rifle Qual is at 500 meter will the Army's is at 350 meters. Also Boot Camp for the Corps is 4 weeks longer. So innocents getting killed, true that does happen in War and it sucks. As for innocents getting killed thats invalid cuz the Hajis kill alot more than Coalition Forces. They may be the first major combat unit in, IF the location has a coastline(there'll always be a Special Ops unit/other types in before they arrive though)

You're comparing standard Marines boot camp to elite forces within larger branches. Elite forces within the Marines have to undergo training that is easily comparable to other elite forces, if not surpassing most others. Though I believe the SEALS have it the hardest.

But in my opinion, if the Marine Recon, which would be considered Marine SF, training is so hard, why do they have to go through all other SF camps to get in to something different like the SEALS or Berets or even Rangers. what i'm getting at is that the Marine SF training is probably hard as hell, but there are others that are tougher. I'm just tired of people talking out their asses about "how had their trainging camp was" or "who sees more action".
@deathMETALskater95 You can't just be a great Marine SF guy and switch for a number of reasons. The warfare and tactics are vastly different amongst SEALS, Rangers, Marine SF, and Green Berets. If a Green Beret wanted to go into Marine SF, he'd need an honorable discharge, then he'd have to go into Marine SF training. Likewise for a Marine becoming a SEAL, or a Seal becoming a Ranger. Any man switching from one SF to the next would have to go through a lengthy process.

The former Marine is my neighbor and he thinks that the Marines are total bad-asses, but my uncle is a former Ranger and he told me stories where the Rangers were already at the DZ and waiting for Marines to arrive. So in my opinion, Marines are tough, but they got a size 32 chest and a size 0 brain. I'm Army all the way.

@corpeedo Actually what they are called does matter. The US Marines Rifle Qual is at 500 meter will the Army's is at 350 meters. Also Boot Camp for the Corps is 4 weeks longer. So innocents getting killed, true that does happen in War and it sucks. As for innocents getting killed thats invalid cuz the Hajis kill alot more than Coalition Forces. And since your too weak to be a Marines I suggest you stop the shit talking. It just makes you look stupid.

You're comparing standard Marines boot camp to elite forces within larger branches. Elite forces within the Marines have to undergo training that is easily comparable to other elite forces, if not surpassing most others. Though I believe the SEALS have it the hardest.

I'm just tired of people talking out their asses about "how had their trainging camp was" or "who sees more action".

@deathMETALskater95 You can't just be a great Marine SF guy and switch for a number of reasons. The warfare and tactics are vastly different amongst SEALS, Rangers, Marine SF, and Green Berets. If a Green Beret wanted to go into Marine SF, he'd need an honorable discharge, then he'd have to go into Marine SF training. Likewise for a Marine becoming a SEAL, or a Seal becoming a Ranger. Any man switching from one SF to the next would have to go through a lengthy process.

@crouchtrac Yeah the Marines in general are all pretty damn tough. But they aren't all what they seem. I know two Marines, one former and the other active. The former Marine is my neighbor and he thinks that the Marines are total bad-asses, but my uncle is a former Ranger and he told me stories where the Rangers were already at the DZ and waiting for Marines to arrive. So in my opinion, Marines are tough, but they got a size 32 chest and a size 0 brain. I'm Army all the way.
