  • Use the Key light for the "short side" of the face and the fill light for the "long side" of the face. The way you made your set up with the key light on the "long side" of the face, gives a "flat" look.

  • ROFL. If you weren't telling jokes the whole time, this is a textbook example of how people instinctively crack up whenever they're on camera for the first time. Happened in my videoconferencing class back in college too. LOL.

  • Yep, it's actually pretty easy. Three lights, none of them directly in front or behind your subject, and you're set!
