  • how long will it run on the 2 aa ?

  • thanks good ideea

  • lol, you can use ths as a recharge able flashlight

  • I will thanks electronic parts donations, like PV solar cells, high brigh LEDs and NiMH or LiIon batteries to make lighting devices for poor comunities here in Brazil.

    Please, send your contributions to:

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards

  • that is realy bad for it

if you are running on batery's and pull the light out

    it overpowers this chip

  • Ill remember that thanks...

  • Nothing to worry much on those small neon circuit they use small part but not impossible to find one. I have one that came out of and old 17" lcd monitor i had to do reverse ingeniring to get the schematic and found out that it was working with 2 npn transistor 2 resitor and 1 cap draw about 600 mA on 8.5 volts of course any input voltage can be use the tube will be dim or bright.

  • Very nice light Paul. I was just playing around with one of my FL circuits today. I like the light that they put out.

  • I must take a look at your videos I have not been on youtube for a bit..

    Paul..

  • Great video! 5 stars as always! I love your videos. Keep us informed about these tyes of circuits as there is nothing more useful then to be able to have light at night......let alone the fact that small cells like the AA can easily be charged using small solar cells.

  • Thanks..

  • u could have that in a light sabre =D.

does it say on the box how many watts it can supply at the high voltage end?

  • 8 watts, but it lights up an 11w luminarie fully...

at 1.5v it lights up 4 watts easily.....

    Paul..

  • very cool. if u have some spare money lieing around id like if u bought one of those crappy backlight inverter modules off ebay, they are realy cheap and i think they could light up these bulbs too.

  • Yup even with low current and voltage if you amplify the voltage you'll get more watts, specially with a tesla coil.

  • Im working on a couple of Teslas to wirelessly transmit it.

  • Good grounding seems to play a big part in long distance power transmission. I have sent you a video you may find interesting in relation to this subject.

  • nice light i want one but its hard to find one around here

  • Thanks, try ebay or work sites.

Just ask people, if not they cost £20 here in the UK

    Paul..

  • whats the name and model? ill see if i can find one on ebay or local

  • Its a Type: 925275 IP20 8W Luminarie...

    Hope this helps...

    Paul..

  • i have plans that work on a camer flash and up to an 40 watt fluressent tube (1 aa batery)

if you want the pm me
