  • Your video helped me out a lot - thanks!!

  • Brilliant!!! clear concise just what i was looking for i caught an edge on a cat track after skiing at fernie and hit so hard i had a bruise from my arse to my ankle for 3 weeks. I wish i had seen this video first!!!

  • theses are advanced techniques for a beginner haha...you should show a single edge skidded turn because a beginner cant link dynamic skidded turns..this is a video to show a beginner how they will make it down a cat track after years of practice

  • Really great videos, very very very helpful. Instructors and friends who ride haven't managed to make this stuff clear so thanks v much.

  • Thanks for the awesome explanations and videos!!! You make it look so easy! lol

  • I always just use blind speed in cat tracks.

  • How do you ride down an incredibly steep slope on a blue run? i cant turn because i feel like i am going to go to fast if i make just the slightest turn downward to turn from my heel edge to my toe edge, i go too fast and i get scared and i really want to know a good way how to go down a steep hill.

  • @mep10961 tell me about it, just have to stop if i feel like im going too fast

  • you made that look soooooooooo easy these scare me thanks for the lesson

  • Shudda watched this before I went to fooking Les Arcs - cat tracks everywhere - only times I fell and hurt myself.

Stay off Belvedere blue and go the red instead.

  • great vids snow wolf...love them! helped me a lot :)

  • what is a cat track?

  • A cat track is a run that is about 4 metres wide or so. Sometimes there is a cliff on either side, which makes people nervous.

  • yea i got that later on the vid. but 10x anyways..well this video was like gold for me..because i am a newbie and i cant go to the slopes (my parents are working and dont have the time to drive me there)..so..i snowboard in parks and some hills witch are narrow like hell..and there are trees sometimes..but i never got in one:)..

  • @fermerwuvu cat tracks are trails are typically nearly flat trails on the mountain that the snow machines use to traverse the mountain. they are painfully hard for the beginner snowboarder to ride.

  • @fermerwuvu cat tracks are the tracks the grooming "caterpillar" leaves behind, since they leave small spaces between each track you pick up speed incredibly fast and it makes it difficult to stop if you dont know what your doing

  • @starshock01 yes i already knnow what it means now but thanks anyways :)

  • @fermerwuvu They're very evil things for snowboarders. But seriously, they're very narrow trails.

  • Best instruction on carving and cross-under turns I've seen.

  • is this in oregon

  • Im not gonna lie snowolf thats a pretty ballin couch material jacket ahahhaahha just kidding
