Check your oath of office again. Doesn't say "do what you think is right for your country." Heck, anything any of these guys does is what he "thinks is right for the country". I don't think most senators are doing a very good job upholding and defending the constitution. They're doing whatever they want.

I agree with Hagel, that un-serious people do become irrelevant, but the question is:how much damage do you do b4 you become ireelevant?
