I hate the concept of "mobisodes".

I never knew about them until know and I find it wrong to take such important portion of the story away from regular episodes.

Questions related to Walt annoyed me for years and now I find just partial answer hidden in this cellphone shit.

Scriptwriters must explain themselves from what was the original role planned for Walt. First they built up his character so much and suddenly he's flushed. This looks like poor scrpitwriting,

The producers say they kept Walt out of the series cuz he's grown so much in real-time. I dunno, he seemed soooo important, especially when Linus shot Locke. I hope he's coming back or at least close that gap.

Maybe. They did confirm it was Walt that talked to Michael in on the Hatch's computer. The birds died from hitting the board. The only power we know he does have is he dreamed of "Locke" on the island in the future during Season 5.

Walt has some kind of powers, I'm guessing that's what's causing the alarm to go off. Somehow he's pulling the birds toward him and they die and land in frnt of the window. The window was boarded up because Walt kept trying to escape.

When Jack was capture by the others and put in that room with the glass window, i remember there was like some kind of speaker or communication device that was making noises and Jack thought he heard the voice of Walt or something like that, and Juliet told him that the radio hasn't worked for years. Maybe im wrong its been a long time since the last time i seen the show. But could that be Walt using his telepathic power to communicate with Jack and to tell him to scape and set of the alarm.

Since he had seen his father on the island before he thought his father was there but it turns out the speaker had been broken for years
