it says on the site that the belmont in the movie is Simon Belmont. But alas, I will never be able to see it, as Konami has prevented it from being released.... I'm a sad Castlevania fan now. T_T

That's the problem... since konami staff saw this project they interfered personally and stop it i guess... well w/e "aimxforxthexhead" said this movie sux but u can see this is the most important fan-movie ever made for Castlevania and if he doesnt know this... then u can see how this guy aimxforxthexhead sucks =)

Yes the chubby dude was me. I purposely went into the film with the idea not to do the rail thin androgynous look of SOTN and so forth, and thought a more bulky, barrel chest look would be more accurate for a warrior of that time. Sadly, too many beers and I looked a little heavy instead of big/strong. I will cop to that, but still it was a fun time and got people talking, being creative, which was the whole point.

I ended up taking the page down, but I heard that Konami, after both dev teams seeing the film, named ISAAC, the villain in Curse of Darkness for me...I sure hope Paul Anderson doesnt fuck up the film...cheers

Yeah he is not going to be the principal director but he is going to put the script i guess... and the DVD was from Thaumus Films (Ben Isaac) but his youtube account is dead and i dunno where to find him now =/

i see, so have you seened resident evil extintion? it's great, and you know why? cause the director is not paul anderson! HA,HA,HA!if you remember the first resident evil was ugly, no sense for the action and make up effects zombie ( the videogame was super than the movie ) while the second was not so bad, but too short like story if you considered the resident evil 2 and 3 ( videogame)

With all that sword play and black/death metal, that's an interesting take on Castlevania. I'm assuming that the hero is Simon, he looks a bit worse for wear.
