Its both betas.
Btw Chrome works differently that most other browsers in that it compiles large parts of a homepage into machine code and then runs it as a local application within its own sandbox enviroment. This can make it a little slower to startup but once the page is running its VERY fast.
Its a part of googles strategy to move application use online and why the chrome browser is the core of their new OS.

chrome 3.0 dev version is the fastest browser out right now. all others fail.
