  • He is a Legend!

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.....esse nassim é muito doido..doooooooooooooooorgas

  • lol, this one ended with a cliffhanger.

  • Dude this is great, i tried to argue about space in the atom in chemistry in high school and everyone thought i was making a mute point. WTF is space? and why haven't we bothered trying to figure that shit out?

  • Everything doesn't "radiate" WOW this dude is a KOOK and I'm shocked at the number of hits

  • so then if one is expanding and one is contracting where is the plane or mixing dimention? is it in the mind? or is it in the larger picture the edge of a black hole in the small scale the living cell taking energy and using it for energy producing heat

  • There are WAY too many little 'edits' in this video series, usually when he's speaking of something of importance. Wtf?

  • @robbiedogg04 because stuff that's totally outrageous and obviously total BULLSHIT has to be edited out because people like me will point it out and that could affect this fraudster financially.

  • @robbiedogg04 listen to the first part. Pee breaks etc.

  • Third Law* or he said first "LAWS*"?

  • Third Law.

  • 01:00 - 02:30 - ridiculing physics by ridiculing a cartoon of a simple analogy to demonstrate expansion is just shameful. And just listen to them lap it up.

  • @steeltable218 He is merely making a simple analogy to demonstrate that we can't just assume certain processes to be true while throwing our own fundamental rules away.

  • @blasphemylolz No, he's using a cartoon man with cartoon lungs to make the 'point' that 'something' needs to contract in order for space to expand. This leads him to Newton's Third Law of Motion, or Haramein's 'First Law of Physics' acting between space and... er... dunno, more space? A different kind of space? Help..?

  • @steeltable218 What he's saying is that scientists tell us that space is expanding, but they don't explain why or what is making it expand so they just leave it out of their equations. The action is between the infinatly large and the infintaly small, the latter being very hard to fit into our current model of our physical world. If space is expanding into the infinatly large, there has to be an equal and opposite action being space contracting into the infinatly small.

  • @blasphemylolz There's Inflation, for one, with expansion as the result of vacuum decay. There may be more models. And from what equations do they exclude expansion? They have to take it into account in General Relativity, and the expansion is modelled by the FLRW metric. 'Infinitely large' and 'infinitely small' are concepts - you can never, by definition reach either. So what is the 'action' between, and what is the 'action'? Space/ isn't expanding into 'anything', it just expands.

  • @blasphemylolz Dude why are these videos upsetting you so much? You've been commenting on them for months now???

  • @blasphemylolz They're not upsetting me at all. I'm free to comment, whether I agree with something or not. These videos could be people's introduction to NH. When I hear them being asked to pay for indoctrination (DVDs, emissary programs, donations) into his 'theories', I think it's helpful to give people a broader perspective from which to choose to believe him or not. Pointing out palpable BS doesn't mean that I'm upset. Do people who disagree with him upset you?

  • @steeltable218 So you took it up on yourself to spend your time here commenting on almost every comment. You sound like an intelligent guy, dont waste your time on this "BS" right?

  • @blasphemylolz Soft-soap censorship. That's what every purveyor of mindless garbage hopes, all the cultists, the pseuds, fundie preachers, new age cash cows... if you think it's BS why bother us? Leave us alone, don't waste your time, look away, just let us do what we do in peace... well, giving people the information as a counterpoint to help combat the dross and make up their own minds is no waste of time - anyway, it's only a few minutes here and there.

  • @steeltable218 Lol true, but you have to admit that mainstream science has huge boundaries to cross still. And censorship is everywhere...

  • @blasphemylolz Sure, science has a vast swathe left to explore, or do you mean ideological boundaries? And the more we discover, the more we realise we don't know. Self-censorship can be vital in science, or we may end up chasing patterns and connections that aren't really there, like many fringe gurus. Cognition must be razor-edged to be of use. But isn't mystery a beauty of reality? Guys like NH pretend to have the answer to everything, cover it with sciency obscurity and people lap it up.

  • @steeltable218 What if Haramein is right in saying that you could build ever more powerfull particle accelerator's because there will always be smaller particles to discover. Maybe science has the wrong approach because it looks for answers only in the exterior and physical world. Haramein might not have all the answers but I think he's also trying to broaden people's perspectives and their approach to finding the truth. We must admit that we are pretty primitive in our knowledge of the universe

  • @blasphemylolz The idea "we'll never get to the bottom of it so let's not bother" is hardly a new intellectual feat. And data about more fundamental entities can only broaden our knowledge. We don't have a fraction of the energy necessary to probe the Planck Scale so his point is moot - it's just a 'what if?' but he can't assert it as he doesn't know. Nobody does. The 'exterior, physical' world is the only one we can detect as it contains all of us and our thoughts, interactions etc...

  • @blasphemylolz Why do you say that science has 'the wrong' approach'? Look at what it''s done! But maybe one day, we'll detect a higher dimension that can be traversed and/or parallel universes, and a rigorous theory of consciousness, but it'll be the scientific method that does it. Science is young, constantly self-correcting and striving for more accurate observations, methods and theories. You may be right about Haramein's motives, but he's doing a terrible, fraudulent job.

  • @steeltable218 Don't be a pessimist, if some scientists could start researching into Harameins theories I'm sure some amazing discoveries will be made. I'm sure Haramein means best with what he's trying to do, it's not neccesary to call him a fraud for what he has shared with us.

  • @blasphemylolz The process of "researching Haramein's theories" would go as follows:

    1. Does any of it actually have any measurable connection to anything in the world? No.

    2. Ok, so is there anything that can be tested? Er, well there are predictions about quantities we've already measured...

    3. Do they match at all? No, they're 530 million million million million million million times too big.

    4. So does it explain anything new or predict anything that can be tested? Well, no.

    5. Conclusion?

  • @blasphemylolz Haramein's conclusion: "I have solved the equation that proves - literally, mathematically proves - that every single atom you're made of is a mini black hole."

    Fraud.

Is he making money out of people by pushing this false idea that he's achieved something? You bet. Has he got a brand that he's promoting and defending against any criticism? Of course he has. He's institutionalised the idea that he's a genius. And he's got himself some loyal brand followers to help him protect it.

  • @blasphemylolz Is he desperate to abuse the peer review process so that it looks like he's published something legitimate and scientists are taking note? My god yes. Absolutely desperate. See bit[dot]ly/HarameinAIP for his latest sneaky attempt.

Or go along with the whole thing as if he's the latest hope for humanity if you prefer. Up to you.

Most people would just think it a bit dumb if you're just wide-eyed, refusing to question him or look any deeper into what the guy is actually doing.

  • @blasphemylolz But he claims to have something he doesn't and charges people to spread his word - hence, fraud. That's not pessimistic, just honest. Take another angle at this. Look at my comments on what he says about history on vids 41 up. These are easily checkable in dozens of online sources or your library. If I'm wrong, let me know. You may say "Ah, well that's just history and it's not his field." But he's shot himself in the foot by offering a 'Unified Field Theory' that promises to...

  • @blasphemylolz (cont) Unify all Fields of human knowledge and answer all mysteries inc pyramids, Ark of the Covenant etc. Therefore, by definition, he shouldn't be uneducated in these fields. But the historical errors he makes are dreadful. He also lies blatantly about the number of sunspots during 2004, and you can check this easily online. He makes manufactured links between God and the Ark as being the same entity. He cherrypicks instances of the word 'crystal' from the Bible to 'prove'...

  • @blasphemylolz (cont) a link with tetrahedral crystals. His entire discourse is based on picking out points of similarity or congruity that have no real connection, and then creating connections between them that support (and sell) his belief. This is the kind of logic that people recovering from psychotic breaks try to dispel. It's the logic of a madman, or a delusional diletante. Is it harmless? Well, it's enticing enough to attract money and attention from the credulous and closed-minded.

  • @blasphemylolz Based on his Horrible History, illogical logic and untenable flashes of inspiration, even if I hadn't looked into his science, I'd be careful to take on anything he said without careful scrutiny. And that's why, after research, even if I like some of his ideas in principle, I have no option but to throw out his entire thesis. If he has no regard for accuracy in mysticim, history or empirical astronomical records, why should I take his physics seriously? Why should anyone?

  • @steeltable218 Because it's a positive idea, thats why. Just call me a Hippie already lol :)

  • @blasphemylolz Ok, you'd rather be told what you want to hear than find out what things are actually like.

    Infantile... but understandable.

  • @TheBobathon lol no I'm just tired of having this futile conversation with you and not leave a bitter taste in your mouth, I'd do that for a stranger. You however are hellbent to insult me in your corny articulate way. Arguments are never won on the interwebs lol. nice sharing some ideas with you, may the universe smile on you and present you with the answers you so dearly long for. He who seeks shall find :)

  • @blasphemylolz No, you got me wrong. I'm not hellbent on insulting anyone, don't be silly. But if you say there's no need to call him a fraud, then I'd like to say yes there is. And it wouldn't be fair to say that without giving good reasons for it.

I'm not even interested in 'winning' any argument. I'd be very interested to hear any good reasons for saying he's not, and I honestly wish someone would come up with some instead of just saying they like what he tells them.

  • @blasphemylolz If you'd rather find out what things are actually like than be told what you want to hear, then I apologise and take back my 'infantile' comment. There's plenty to find out about Haramein, so long as you don't let his PR stop you from looking beneath the surface a little. Good luck to you.

  • @TheBobathon Lol I don't know who I'm speaking to anymore.... Listen I know nothing more than the higher grade physics I had in school. This is the most recent videos I've seen on the topic and I'm interested in social, political, moral, philosophical and physical concepts. Even Aliens and UFO's. I want to know more about the world that I experience(One can elaborate on that subject till the end of days too). continues....

  • @TheBobathon continued... I like the way Haramein presents himself, I find it very interesting how he ties all these subjects together in a way that makes a lot of sense to me. You can see that can't you? I'm not a hardcore physics guy, I've seen some dawkins stuff and even some religious videos. I'll cease all further conversation on the physics matter (excuse the pun lol) with you guru's. Cool beans? :)

  • @blasphemylolz Cool beans.

I can see that people like the way he presents things, and that it makes sense to them. But you'll notice that it's only people who don't understand them that like it. Those who have some familiarity with the subject can see very clearly that he's bullshitting, and that virtually everything he says is utterly wrong. That might be of interest to you, and worth investigating, or it might not. Completely up to you. That's all I wanted to say.

  • @TheBobathon assumed superiority because of your 'better understanding' is really self imposed bias. A basic understanding of Chaos theory and you'd be able to understand the relevance of his argument. Hawkins essentially is saying similar things, just not in different way/ through different channels.

  • @10100003 I'm not assuming anything. I've presented a whole load of reasoning, detailed explanation, specific observational evidence that absolutely disputes the entire basis of Haramein's ideas, such as they are. You care to check it out, search for schproton and let's discuss.

I don't argue from authority, and neither should you or Haramein. Haramein's talks are a sales-pitch for his brand of story-telling. You want to being chaos theory in to support, then go ahead. Do it. I'm listening.

  • @TheBobathon

Haramein says the first law of physics is: "For every action there is an . . . "

One wonders who his instructor was. The milkman?

  • @blasphemylolz Fringe science has huge boundaries to cross too. The automatic dismissal of centuries of human endeavour and research, often with ignorance of the facts. Prejudicial mistrust of authority and establishment. Dismissing 'mainstream' as 'closed-minded', reundant, obsolete etc. Cloudy, misleading analysis and cherrypicking of data. Manufactured, illusory leaps of logic, symbolism and misrepresentation of facts.

  • @blasphemylolz And they censor, too. They choose audiences that are 'open' to their ideas (or people who don't know science, or learned it from Astounding Stories) so their theories thrive. They don't bother sending their stuff to Nature because they know it would be rejected (not for conspiratorial reasons). There are instances of people like Hoagland declining to debate mainstream mathematicians like Ralph Greenberg, a perfect opp to make his case. Criticisms are censored from their sites etc.

  • contracting all experience into the focus vortex to expand the understanding of the whole self in unity! <3

  • This would be very funny if I wasn't doubting he is serious.

-He's "first law of physics" is actually refering to Newton's third law.

-This action - gives opposite reaction is about mass, not volume. There is no such law in physics that says that space needs to come from some other space. The picture of the man blowing a balloon is a kindergarten picture, even a 10 year old knows there is not actually a man blowing up the universe.. it is expanding, no law says it should come from something.

  • @konin525

As far as I can see, he is explicitly extending Newton's law based on the innovations of general relativity. Newton did not treat space or time as "things," whereas Einstein does. Hence, doesn't it make sense to say that if space-time is expanding it must also be contracting? Even if it isn't part of Newton's law, maybe it should be? Isn't there something intuitively weird about the imbalance represented by space-time solely expanding?

  • you know what, the explanation is simple, there those who accept this reality and those who dont, 'the answer is that both are = true. potential realities.

  • @Tel750 So what you mean is: you can't tell whether he's speaking the truth or not, therefore nobody else can.

Surely some things actually are true, and some things actually are false?

What he's saying here is bollocks. He's made the mistake of talking about straight facts that are not a matter of opinion. Those who 'accept this reality' only accept it because they don't know any better.

And hell, why should they, not everybody cares about science.

If you don't know, it's fine - just be honest.

  • He sounds like a practiced speaker on the subjects presented, but not very convincing other than on a few concepts... which can be conceived on a strong tab of acid...

so far. I am willing to hear the entire presentation though.

  • Comment removed

  • The uploader claims Nassim has had "a lifetime" of physics" training, which is obviously not true. Nassim is missing some of the basic concepts of physics at the beginner level. Yes he has some nice ideas, but when you start these ideas, without an understanding of the principals involved, you will get no where. His ideas of atoms are a direct example of how he doesn't understand physics. This is a guy who barely knows the basics of physics, explaining physics to people who don't know physics

  • @ghpink maybe you don't know physics?

  • @Zee96969696 Maybe not. But I do know it better then Nassim. He is making fundamental beginner mistakes and if you studied college level physics, you would know this as well. Maybe its the way he is wording it. Who knows. I would put money on it, that if Nassim sat down with a university physics professor, the professor would say the same thing I am.

  • @ghpink why couldn't reality be based on a fractal or self similar... we see it alot in nature and even the order of planets. That said, you are wasting your text if you resort to rhetorical criticism.

  • Pigeons do not know they are pigeons, how can WE know exactly what we truly are and where we truly are?? We can only figure out a glimpse. Personnaly I always kinda thought the Universe is an alive entity in itself, just like us. It's all about scale my friends. And we are very, very f***ing tiny.

    I ll keep watching.

  • So far he seems fairly logical and quite clever. This is just another clever guy with philosophic / scientific ideas that should be checked out I think. Then put in the bin and forgotten, or looked up at, and studied further.

But seriously, trying (and all we can do is just try) to understand the true nature of all things, matter, consciousness and energy requires trials, failures, debates, improvement.

  • I have been watching that session since the begining, and so far I really don't see what makes him worthless, liar or whatever else he is branded. I randomly found him yesterday, I don't know anything about him or his ideas, so I m just checking him out, I will listen, then I ll make up my own opinion.

  • Almost everything he's said up to now is philosophy, not testable, I wonder if he'll ever get scientific

  • Hahah, I showed you, Internet!

  • I love that most of the arguments against this guy are that his "followers" are saying "it must be true because I like it" (@TheBobathon) are no more inventive or solid than that very concept? Nobody seems to be able to give a RATIONAL reason for why what Nassim is saying is irrational. I kind that HILARIOUS. Your fear is obvious, folks.

  • @TommyFilth1 The arguments against this guy are very solid. And there are thousands of them! In this video, as I said below, he completely misuses one of the most basic laws of physics. Not slightly, but utterly wrong. He gets away with it because he speaks to people with no understanding of science, who join him in laughing at Einstein's theories.

I'd invite you to check out bit [dot] ly/haramein, where you'll find plenty of rational arguments. He's a fraud, and I think people ought to know.

  • @TheBobathon maybe you're full of shit?

  • @Zee96969696 thanks Zee! Glad you liked it. :-)

  • Hum sure is alot of people upset posting comments on not to watch his videos yet have nothing to offer. Everything is a theory no one has been to any of these planets or info. 19.45 long and lat buddy that's all I have to say Higher Mathematics - For my brothers and sister that are of the 2012 mind frame of higher consciousness also check out Manly P. Hall... Love ya and every watch everything and be the judge for yourself.

  • So, as I was saying... nobody with an ounce of understanding would apply Newton's third law to a cosmos - it's a curved spacetime.

Also, "Every action has an equal and opposite reaction" is a law about forces, not volumes.

He misunderstands the MOST BASIC law of physics, and pretends to be a physicist.

When he says "and I looked through all the equations...", what he means is "I found this massive book in Rauscher's office and it was full of gobbledigook, and look, I found a funny picture!"

  • Can you not see he's a liar? Can you not see that he doesn't open minds, he placates them? That he doesn't encourage anyone to explore the world of ideas, he says "listen to me, I have all the answers"? Are you little children, only prepared to believe stories that make you feel better?

The realities of nature are way bigger than the "it must be true because I like it" attitude of Haramein's followers. It's far richer, far more fascinating, and far more beautiful than this tinselly garbage. No?

  • well said heynowwassup

  • (this was @heynowassup)

  • It`s interresting stuff no doubt but its somewhat stupid when he makes fun of the real scientists, even tho i understand what hes trying to do, its allmost like david vs gholiat in a way in the scientific community.

  • Exactly right, he makes fun of other scientists, because he knows his target audience very well. He knows they will be atrracted by this. They love to think they are in a privileged group who are "fighting the mainstream" - regardless of the fact that there is no such thing as "the mainstream" in science - there is just science that works and science that doesn't.

  • @Karma01010 Hey if you havent seen all the these vids i recommend you to not see them, this guy is an idiot, the way he thinks of the universe is sooo wrong, he says our solar system is located in a black hole and that the vulcanos on earth is actually a gateway to a portal at the center of the earth lol |

  • Comment removed

  • @indee3 The point is, many knowitalls ONLY know whats been shoved into their unquestioning orfices by mainstream academics. They become afraid to think outside that box for fear of ridicule from the other "intellectuals" What makes you so sure that all your sources of learning werent by design meant to produce idiots who believe themselves to be intellectuals?

  • Ok, so what YOU know to be true is conception, everything else is misconception. I get it now. No sense in arguing longer. Its truly not important for either of us to convince the other of anything. Enjoy.

  • dasgroover > greeks invented algebra?

    its the arabs wiki it

im not trying to find fault here but should'nt u do yr research b4 u write such things

  • recall that standard models that are accepted and taught - for instance: the Greeks invented AlGebra -

    ( HA!!!!!!!!!!!! )

    we would then surmise:

if IV + IV = IX

what to speak of what happened to 0?

but every year Discovery channel lays it out - afresh - so to speak - fresh dew - fresh standard model

  • IV + IV = IX

    4+4= 9

    epic fail

  • you'd laugh to know the quote is from DISCOVERY CHANNEL - which stated the Geeks invented algerbra - and I thought 'IMAGINE THAT - wow - now that's intelligent eh?'

then I threw my popcorn at the tv and went for swim

  • The word "algebra" is named after the Arabic word "al-jabr" from the title of the book [al-Kitāb al-muḫtaṣar fī ḥisāb al-ğabr wa-l-muqābala' , (The book of Summary Concerning Calculating by Transposition and Reduction), a book written by the Muslim mathematician, Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī in 820. The word Al-Jabr means "reunion.

  • yes, ( and thank you ) - yet tell DISCOVERY CHANNEL!

that's why I was making fun of DC by algebra written in roman numerals

    such as :

(if) IV + IV = IX

    then what is II

( after that then tell us about zero ) lol

  • all of demongithara's posts = philosophical waffle and zero substance

  • poor nassim fails to notice that the "ballon analogy" is a_n a_n_a_l_o_g_y. it is designed to clarify one aspect of universal expansion: how locations on a 2D surface can all move away from every other location on that surface without there being any centre to the expansion (then imagine the same with 3D objects). the analogy is designed to clarify that point. it was never intended as a full model, so asking who is blowing it up is irrelevant. his audience laugh, but the joke is on them.

  • Brilliant!!! Truth is expanding!

  • Standard crackpot material.

  • Good man! great explanation of space! : )

  • Just awful.

  • this guy is hilarious, in a good way :)

    absolutely marvelous stuff.

  • outside-the-box pure-logic thinking at its finest!!

"where is the equation... for THIS guy?"

    *ROFL*

  • the part with the "Where is this guy" Was brilliant..

  • Lol yeah that was epic....

  • Brilliant ,brilliant, brilliant, he makes his United Field Theory so easy to understand!!!!!!! My own sujective experience tells me what he is saying is truth.

  • Camera man - retard

  • camera man minus retard equals......?

  • Better viewing experience

  • Great Video tell the Cia - Homeland Plants if they dont like it watch American Idol - Disinformation is why we are here learning. So go watch Science Channel, this guys is a genius. Great Post I sent it to my network we should be able to get this video thousand more views.

    Peace 2012

  • I invite this man to publish his discoveries in Physics Review or some serius magazine on Science.

Of course, if the scientist say "no" to your papers, you would say that they doesn't understand a revolutionary scientist, as you think you are...

I hope you are not making money with this, making thing people that you are a scientist. You are a phoney.

  • check out his website "theresonanceproject".

Also, you be surprised how many alternate theories in any science are treated when they eventually do get publishing in main-stream jounals.

  • this man is really stupied. He doesn't make science, even he doesn't understand what is a pedagogical model (de balloon with the gallaxies). This is just a pedagogical view of what means the expansion. It doesn't mean that there is a real man inflating the universe, or something like that.

I think this man is a child, he thinks as a child, he talks as a child, and he is a complete egocentric. You can enjoy his explanations, but he is not demostrating anything, or making any theory.

  • DUH, hey marcopsol, are you sure you are not the one who is "stupied". He's explaining that if the universe is supposedly expanding, there MUST be an equal and opposite reaction and that reaction MUST be occouring silmultaneously and that is not being accounted for in physics and cosmology. Pay attention next time.

  • The most dangerous part of your opinion is the closed mindedness. No one that wants to enter the world of quantum physics has even a close chance of understanding it's nature with the point of view you express. No doubt about it, if you can't get your mind around metaphor it's best to sit back and take a long look at what is being presented. This man is the finest genius I have ever witnessed. A true treasure in our time. Could you understand Edward Teller describing a magnetron as a whistle?

  • If you think this guy is simple you really would have had Albert Einstien relegated to the happy farm. The whole idea of genius is to take something that seems complex and witness it in it's simplest terms. This guy is an absolute genius at this. Go watch DonnyLee explain Quantum Mechanics. That should make you happy. It's one thing to understand the resolute and rigourus mathematics that extrapolate these principles, it is another to understand them conceptually as they really stand in nature.

  • well done look at ted talks about african village design can you say fractal village

and didnt albert einstein say if you cant explain it simple you dont understand it ?I believe those who have to make it complicated dont really want the answer

  • do you know new videos about him?

    iiisis2

  • garysalinas7, you asked about a month ago about other videos by Nassim Haramein. It's true that the youtube video where you commented is from 2003 but you can find his newer DVD on Nassim's website "theresonanceproject" the DVD is called "crossing the event horizon".

  • Man, Haramein has a gift.

  • Its posted on Google video as well

  • does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a dvd of this discussion?...The format would be far easier to watch....its fascinating!
