that is treu ,but whe imazighen have traditions that don't contradict islam so whe keep them and live by them ,our people lived by them for more then 9000 years.
i don't think allah whill punish us for wearing other clothing or speaking another language or do something else that is diffrent from arabs.
look at the words of allah:
Arabic: wa zja3alnakum shu3uban wa kabaila li ta3arafu.
English: and whe have made you in to nations and tribes ,so that you may know one and another.

a kind of hijab but more from our Amazigh traditions then from islam, you can see that at the colours and the way they are weared.
