The bass is below 20hz which isn't audible by the human ear. The only thing you should hear is rattling, but you do feel the power. The rattling is so intense because the subs aren't underpowered.

That doesn't look loud at all. I see you mentioned that the ports were in the back and the subs faced up, that is a very good design, they call them "crx" style boxes, and him getting metered in the passenger side foot well was most likely the best place they could of metered him from the seats forward. I know, I have been in and out of competition audio for years and own a legit spl meter.

na it looks about the right size for these particular speakers. all speakers run with different wattage, air space etc. you cant judge by what you think it should have. specs for them all are different. with money into something like this its sure to have been built to specs.

just depends on what class your in and how good you are with boxes... i had to 18" mt's on 4000 wrms and another guy with 2 18" omegas .. i did 149.3 and he did 159.5 haha.. yet, he did have a wall and 5000 wrms on each sub.... mine was a daily driver too.. in a sense your right. but not always. im now doing a build with 4 15" memphis pr's.. not done yet but itll do 148's on music with only 1000 wrms

They hit pretty hard, but the problem is they didn't do well on the mic, which was placed in the passenger footwell. It is in a Dodge Caravan, and it is ported. But, the ports are at the lower back portion of the box, facing the back door, with amps below the port. So, all you have are the speakers firing upwards.

That doesn't look loud at all. I see you mentioned that the ports were in the back and the subs faced up, that is a very good design, they call them "crx" style boxes, and him getting metered in the passenger side foot well was most likely the best place they could of metered him from the seats forward. I know, I have been in and out of competition audio for years and own a legit spl meter.

There's not enough cubic feet of air to properly satisfy those woofers. You need at least double the cubic footage in a van for 15's to do it right.

na it looks about the right size for these particular speakers. all speakers run with different wattage, air space etc. you cant judge by what you think it should have. specs for them all are different. with money into something like this its sure to have been built to specs.

im not judging it lol i study car audio wayyy to much i actually know what im talking about these subs are probably running 500rms at the least so thats 3000rms...thats is a shit load of wattage lol..15s are big subwoofers they move a lot of air..30000 watts of all that air is going to take a big ass box

Heh, to have the proper sound and SPL coming out of those 6 15s, do you realize how much power you need to supply 6 speakers like that, and the space..good god. 2.0 Cubic feet of airspace, per speaker for best quality and reaction for 90% of 15s.

just depends on what class your in and how good you are with boxes... i had to 18" mt's on 4000 wrms and another guy with 2 18" omegas .. i did 149.3 and he did 159.5 haha.. yet, he did have a wall and 5000 wrms on each sub.... mine was a daily driver too.. in a sense your right. but not always. im now doing a build with 4 15" memphis pr's.. not done yet but itll do 148's on music with only 1000 wrms

What's up fella? You know running any kind of equipment has it's pros and cons. In your case you have too many subs, not enough air space, and not enough power. Loose two of them and your db# should get higher.... See ya in traffic

They hit pretty hard, but the problem is they didn't do well on the mic, which was placed in the passenger footwell. It is in a Dodge Caravan, and it is ported. But, the ports are at the lower back portion of the box, facing the back door, with amps below the port. So, all you have are the speakers firing upwards.
